lol my combo in re 5 is the l hawk the hand cannon the m3 shot gun (i forget its name) the 3rd sniper in the game and the rpg. i agree with kurtkurtz1 about killing bosses in one hit. its freaking awesome.

i like the gernade launcher in re1 the most cuz it has this cheat that can get u 240 shells just like that take my word for it i aint lying here is what u gotta do

1.have at least 2 types of gernades shells

2.have the ammo u want in the upper right slot put the ammo in the box

3.put it inside the GL and there u have it!

make sure its equiped and thats all trust me on this it will work as long as follow these steps. yes this cheat can be used more the 1 time its like a reload. ;)

5 is the hand gun (not that powerfull)

4 is the sniper (pretty good even is close range)

3 is the unlimited ammo RPG(who dosent want to beat bosses in one shot)

2 is the hydra( 3 barrel fun)

1 is the l.hawk mag.(cauze its beast)

The shotgun has proven itself time and time again in resident evil. It's a very powerful weapon, and there's always been a decent amount of ammo. With the knife i understand what you're saying. If you use it like a dagger from resident evil one, it could prove very useful.

Just better how your string enough to get it throught to the brain and strong enought to take it back out. Its not like in the movies and videogames, a knife without a blood grove (which im sure your kitchen knife doesn't have lol) The suction from the person you just killed's blood woll require a lot of force to remove thus leaving you vunerable for quite some time. I prefer to reach out and touch someone with a .308 scoped rifle before said zombie sees you. But melee is nice for backup weapon!

I think the weapon depends on the game. RE 1 through 3 all i would use is the Pistol or GL/Bzka in RE 4 You only really need the shotgun sniper rifle(Required) and Knife and the rest can be handled by the enviroment. In RE 5 it seems everything can be done with the handgun or shotgun and u Have Punches and Big machettes to add. But overall My most Reliable weapon would be Handguns and my feet.
