it looks like you are trying to grow out an old lighter highlited hair color...can i ask why you just didnt dye it all dark? I want to grow out my natural color too but i dont want that look of half old blonde color and half new growing brown color. Should I just dye my lighter color dark or put dye on all of it to avoid that?? No I specifically dyed it that way. The top half is my natrual color, and then I just dye the bottoms. Its different and I like it.

My hair color is the result of alot of trial & error. The top half of my hair is my natrual color brown. I dyed the bottom half/tips a mixture of light brown/cinnamon/blondish colors to match my natrual highlights. Its basically a bunch of browns & blondes haha I always wanted blonde hair - but it never looked right on me. So I keep my tips a lighhhhhhht brown/blonde so I can have the best of both worlds LOL

heres a quick tip :) keep your brushes in a seperate makeup bag or put it in a little case... since you touch your makeup compacts a lot theres bacteria all over it xD and when you put your brushes in there they touch it.. its kind of gross haha :)

it'll prevent you from getting break outs too :)

i did this and my face cleared up A LOT .. :)
