no, it was the stock 3.3.... its already 'painted' its anodized so its the same thing. i dont know about the whole heat build up buzz. it only ran bout 2 degrees cooler with the anodizing striped! but this was prob b/c of new air filters and exhaust too. the black on it is tape... i taped it b/c i was going to anodize it red like the chassis.

but the only diff is the summit tires, long rockers, and 10mm longer push rods.

yes next to each other they are, but you can spend less than 100 and make a 5308 a 5309 (less the extra servo and 2.4g radio)

my bulkhead looked just like yours haha

broke shock arm, drive shaft steering arm and blew the gears in my right steering servo in one crash haha

i hit a stub of a fence pole poking out of the ground like 3 inches at full speed haha

thanks! its 'duplicolor anodizing' paint. works quite well, but its more like a vEry shinny paint rather than a real 'anodized' look.
