Living in Colorado, long-time home of Hot Rize, I got to see them and Red Knuckles many times. Red Knuckles was as, if not more, popular than Hot Rize with the crowds
Rest in Peace, Charles Sawtelle, aka, Slade. I'm glad the other three are out doing this again. It's the part of Hot Rize that some of the more cranially challenged have never understood, but to me, it's the best music I have ever heard. It was an honor to open for them 20 some years ago.

Even though they were joking around the whole time during this wacky set, the music was still first rate. These guys are real pros.
