I don't think this situation was nice to Eddie Fisher. He was a great husband for Elizabeth and took care of her kids. By having an experimental serum airshipped to the London hospital, she was brought back to life after having actually died.
I think that Elizabeth Taylor has always been a very beautiful woman, but very selfish, ruthless and extremely egotistical. In the end she has only loved herself and has taken advantage of every man and friend that she has had.
Burton had referred to the Welsh as “the Jews of Britain”, a comment on their self-identity as the outsiders of the United Kingdom. [Note: Burton was Welsh]

@char4him99 I thought she let the writer of the new book have some letters. I'm in the process of reading the book now. I'm still at the begining but it is all about the Elizabeth and Richard relationship. they had a lot of fire and passion for each other. "can't live with him, can't live without him" should have been the name of the book. It kind of sums up their relationship.
The way she looks at him,I love that.She was quick on the draw,very funny woman who loves desperatly her man,even after divorce him.
