Route 66 does not go through Las Vegas. If you ever get a chance, drive the Kingman - Oatman - Topock - Needles - Goffs - Amboy - Barstow section you missed (preferably not in the summer). Or at least look for the Kingman to Oatman videos on YouTube to see what you missed!
