It doesn't even matter anymore, the ball has begun rolling on privatizing and co-oping/condo-ing what was once public housing in Red Hook the same way they privatized Stuy-Town and other projects, soon there won't even be any low income people in Red Hook in need of low paying service jobs, once the wealthy HAVS decide that they want a certain piece of real estate, the clock starts ticking on the poor...Red Hook resident 1982-2006...

I live in Red Hook and from my observations the majority of people working in Ikea are Red Hook residents.

how many people from red houses actually got jobs there? not anywhere near 600. They wont say, but i think maybe like 100 at the most!
