the problem with a lot of 3rd world countries is that they only focus on making their MAJOR cities nicer, while ignoring all the villages, towns, etc. that is the biggest fundamental flaw!!

in order for a nation to prosper, the entire nation from ground up should be worked, including remote villages...infrastructure won't mean anything if the mindset of the people won't change.

Musharraf is responsible for nothing but instability. After 9/11 all money had to go through official chanels and the West suddenly needed Pakistan.Moreove the world economy was in an upswing. This has nothing to do with Musharraf. Read any impartial intl assessment from European think tanks to see that Musharraf has actually put Pak back 50 years. An imperfect system is better than no system. The current instability, terrorism, poverty, lack of electricity, foodstuffs is due to Mush.
