@14EMC88 The 1953 Cadillac 331 came from the factory with 210hp. I'm sure with the leaky rings and low compression and warn camshaft it's way lower than that now, but still wicked fun. No idea what it weighs. Not much. hahaha.

@TUTUZGARAGESERVICE There's a place out in California, Wilcap, guy name Pat McGuen, runs it. Probably spelt it wrong. He made the flywheel, pilot bearing and got me the after market throw out bearing. I got the bell housing off ebay, aftermarket Ellco, didn't fit all that well, but I made it work. Pat makes the bell housings too.. Just google Wilcap and you'll see it.

@rpeek Hey thanks Richard, I've had Caddy motors come through my hands but never had a way to hook them up in my trucks the way I like them...the way your Ratrod is set up. I had a 500cid Caddy motor and a 423 Caddy as well where I I could've used the high comp heads on the 500 block. But this time around I'll be looking into trying the head swap and the manual conversion. I got a video I want to send you of an idea I got that will take some machining and welding...

As far as the debate about stripped down rat rods vs polished customs, I love cars like this. Instead of doing everything possible to isolate the driver from their senses, when you drive something like this, you're hammered from all the senses, sight, hearing, smell, touch, and probably even taste!
