  • i got this power supply.. and its kickin ass in my work station. bout to upgrade to a dual card though, and i dont think it can hang.. but for a single card station, you cant beet it.

  • Does the psu make much noise?

  • @babbobs nope, the fan on this psu is thequietest fan inside my case, quieter than my 15dbs case fan.

  • @geoisonfire nb vb

  • was the high pitch noise from the psu? i am having the same noise, nice vid, thanks

  • @splice247 In my case, its might or might not came from the psu. The high pitch noise was gone after I switched my mobo and psu, I installed old mobo and psu on two other PCs, neither of them had the pitch noise.... so I guess it could be a combination of the hardware that caused the noise.

  • @geoisonfire thanks

  • i know this vid is old but still gonna reply..

i had this aswell when i was scrolling up and down i heard the beeping and its verry annoying .

    it dissapeared one day:P

  • yeah, I had the same issue which was why I replace with this psu, however, I figured that my mobo was the problem. Now I am using a different mobo and the problem is gone.Hope that answers your question.

  • @geoisonfire

yes i figured that out aswell ordered a asus formulla iii mobo to replace my cheap asrock XD

  • Thanks again for the help. It's this video + a few reviews that made me choose this PSU. I got a HD4870 in hand right now, and the Fatal1ty 550W is coming tomorrow. I can't wait!

  • Yeah no problem, have fun with the 4870.

  • Cool video. You did say every high-end single card would work with it; Is the HD4870 included on that list? Which components are allocated to which 12v rails?

  • Yes, even 5870 should work with it, so does the 4870. For you second question, please check out the link I post in the description bar.

  • unbox it

  • yeah i did

  • i went to your channel and i couldn't find the video of you unboxing it

  • sry, ur right, I dont think I did an unboxing video of that, ususally I do unboxing videos, but I thought this is just a psu, so there wasnt much to show to you guys,so I didn't make a video.just ask if you have any question

  • you got ripped off man. Check the prices for the 700w now. Free shipping on newegg :)

  • lol, I didnt get ripped, if I just got it now for that price, then I got ripped.

  • Shut up. I dont see you on the camera speaking.

Some people like me like to hear people speak about stuff like this. Shut up and get a life. Leave him alone.

You dribbling, mumbling, stumbling, stuttering, asshole of doom.

  • hey guys will a Chieftec 550W 24pin handle well these specs :

    GPU: Twintech 9800gt 512mb DDR3

    RAM: Transcend 4GB DDR2

    HARD DRIVE: Seagate 250GB

  • Do you think this will run two 9800 gt sli?

  • Yes, should have no problem running two 9800gt

  • don't try it your plaing with fire

i used a 650 wt to power my 2x 8800gt's in less than 2 months it sucked the life out of my psu
