  • Terrible copy! The original version is ITALIAN - 1978 , italian singer his name Umberto Tozzi . She always copied the italian songs and translated in English...

The Americans still believe Alexander Graham Bell invented the phone hahahah, I'm sorry but the telephone was invented by Innocent Manzetti and Antonio Meucci, two Italians. The radio is an Italian invention by Guglielmo Marconi and the name "America" was invented by an Italian, Amerigo Vespucci.

  • @provacitu74 You are a complete moron. Did you know the lyrics aren't even the same? She completely rewrote the lyrics. The name and the 'melody' are from the original, but the song was completely rewritten. You'd cry your little European head off if you knew how many artists do this. Idiot.

  • la musica pasa las barreras y las fronteras de italiano a ingles que bella es la musica quizas algun dia alguien la cante en espanol o en otro idioma por que no a ver la musica es muy bella escucharla y cantarla

  • Laura was fantastic, she is sadly missed, I only wish to God that I'd had the pleasure of seeing her sing live. God bless her.

  • WMG (warner music group) has forced youtube to remove all recordings of gloria by laura branigan...BOYCOTT WARNER MUSIC GROUP for their miserable GREED!

  • "GLORIA"

    Music & Lyrics:

    Giancarlo BIGAZZI - Umberto TOZZI

    iTALY 1979

    Singer:UMBERTO TOZZI!!!!!!

  • @ChiaraMichela

Hey, may be that Umberto Tozzi sang this song once; O), but LAURA sings him in 1000 sometimes better; O).

Laura, Laura, Laura..... is the best; O)

  • OMG!!!

I do this for a living (seriously) and I didn't know untill today she left us.

    "I AM CRUSHED."

And FYI: last song of the show, last line of the last song perfectly in key, then she says goodbye.

what in the hell could possibly make someone say this performance sux???

I love her voice. thank you for this video.

  • Further note to my previous comment:

  • I need see her concerts in viña del mar, 86-88

  • @crawfbrani I've got Vina 88, but not 86...

    I'll try uploading them soon!

  • I would like a little clarification added to that last comment. You need to be VERY careful when you use Laura's name and the word sucks in the same sentence.

Especially when there are some of us that would Love to listen to Laura sing the Phone Book, if given the chance, after we swam the Pacific Ocean to get to the concert :)

    We Love You Laura!

  • Chrisahx2, that was so uncool of you!

Seeing The word "Sucked" & Laura Branigan together is a shame. Did u know this was one of her last shows. She died just weeks later! She was trying to come back after 15 yrs off taking care of her dying husband of 20yrs, & her dying Mother. She broke both of her legs just months before this show. She was doing it on her own lable w/ her own $. She put her Family and Fans 1st. Have a little respect! Oh... BTW: ur commit SUCKED! RIP Sweet Angel. LB 4EVER!

  • oh I didn't know that. Poor Laura. I'm sure she was such a very valiant woman. I see the emotion in her voice. thanks for sharing this.

  • @JRT1964 . You are right, people expressed so is because they have no idea of talent and unforgettable history of this woman, and all the tragedies that lived, not to mention could not have children and that he suffered an evil in your hormonal system and why weight rose and fell, and his face was modified .... but just beautiful. do not forget the 26.8 pray for rest. Greetings from Argentina.

  • @JRT1964 Very interesting info. I wonder if this last show was recorded in 2004 and if it is sold anywhere? I knew Laura had tragedies in her life, but what you say here would be tough for anyone.. She was a major talent and her music is still relevant today I believe.

  • Great video, Thanks.

I feel Laura's loving spirit touch my heart while playing her wonderful music. I'm sure she is singing her heart out in a heavenly choir, as there is no way her great talent would be overlooked.

    We Love You Laura.
