Getting old only has a small part to do with it. It's mainly because he hasn't continued to stay active in the game. People like KRS, GZA, even Cypress Hill all continue to allow themselves to be inspired and keep going. I you think about it, Rap is a very young genre in terms of music. So we havent really seen if there can be a 60 year old rapper still doing his thing, much like the rolling stones. Kane probably hasn't been real active omong his peers as opposed to Premo or even Pete Rock.

Kane should just keep his old M/O, not try to adapt like he has been doing. i think there is a market for his old style, or more so than for what he has been trying to do in the last few years. you should always play up your strength.
