  • This is called "Knowledge of Terror" it is a vipasana insight knowledge associated with seeing the arising and passing away of the 5 aggregates. The "self" view becomes scared and causes the aspirant to retreat. It is just a temporary impasse. The instruction is to not stop nd let go of the self view completely. See the Vissudhimagga for more detail.

  • Not replying directly cos the comment's a month old, but FYI what TheSonyb90 said below is silly: body-language experts look for at least 3 clear and simultaneously present indicators of lying before they assume someone is probably lying. They do not assume 100% certainty of lying based on one sign alone. Also, there's no reason to suspect lying here... at all... crazy person.

  • his lying, using right brain to talk.

  • Please give your life to the true and only God and ask Jesus into your lives,Have you guys not heard the story of the monk who was dead for 3 days and went to hell?He saw buddha there as well as hundreds of monks in the lake of fire. This monk was a devout follower of buddha and never the teaching or anything about Jesus, and after hell he was taken to heaven and told to go back and tell all the monks to stop what they were doing that they were lied to and to give there lives to Jesus. Please liste

  • i had this strange meditation experience of seeing and feeling myself becoming the close people in my life, this zooming quickly through different people in my life.. i didn't stay in it long because it scared me, the strongest i felt was when i saw myself through/as my (still living) brother's being (who had been going to hardships in his own life) - i felt like all my perceptions/knowing of people in my life are just me alone.. does anyone know if this experience has a known name/description?

  • Out of meditation I have had the best experiences I have ever had.

  • During a meditation video I felt lighter then I felt paranoid and afraid like someone was watching me . After the video I felt lighter and good .As I went to bed my wall clock sounded very loud and I saw shadowy figures walking acrossed the room . I was terrified it took me 45 mins to fall asleep and I had a dream of the world ending . I saw the sun with waves of fire whipping off of it and then very dry looking land being sucked into a hole . Is this normal ?

  • i don't know what he said....

  • genuine process of seeking God , thinking of spiritual process gives you such results .In my case it was 5,6 hours of spiritual practice. Keep continue brother and you will achieve what you seek !...just shared my experience too. Good Luck !

  • And that Buddha and Jesus from the same resourse , also I've became to believe in karma .And that some person has free choices ,some are not according their's karma of previous existence. If you recite some mantras by long hours you can feel slightest vibration in body too.Unfortunately it is almost next to impossible for nowadays people to achiev such a great Spiritual experience. In my understanding not only meditation gives such results ,but also long hours contemplation ,devotion ,prayers

  • Wow ! Thank you for you posting ! That's trully rear experience. That happened to me too. After vibration of my whole body ,all of sudden my soul came out of body through my throat chakra. And I've met the Holy Spirit of God .He spoke to me on mental level.Believe it or not he even told me my future..and revealed many things about human life.Showed me up our Earth in size of moon , fully covered in dense dark aura ,because of wrong doings of human race...Now I'am true believer in Cosmic Mind....

  • Bar none the strangest experience I have had during deep meditation was a process called birth

  • @FletcherHabit wtf? you meditated birth?

  • I can relate to when he states one must be patient to become a monk. I have a strong desire to become a nun, but my master states that it is time, but during my process I have also stayed at the temple as a nun. When I am at the temple I feel that I am at home, when it is time I know I will be ready. Thank you for creating this video. I am looking forward to becoming a nun someday.

  • Vibrations ----> they gain strength as there is many thoughts ... when you think nothing or observe your thought (as they dissolve) the vibrations will be very weak.

  • this scary experience is something that is coming and going, therefore it is not real, and cannot harm you, just let it happend and observe what it does

  • I never felt the "vibrations " that bad I just accepted it thank you for your thuoghts

  • How do I remove my thoughts ? Because every time I lose my thoughts another thought came to my mind.

  • Comment removed

  • @luckyclover123a Personally I don't want to push my thoughts away, if you can quite your mind and just observe your thoughts and then let them go, you deal with them in a sense and they discipate...pushing them away won't help.

  • @themikeymonkey To quiet your mind takes practice. Make being aware of your thoughts the goal, and mindfulness will lead to focus.

  • @themikeymonkey focus on your breathing, don't fight your thoughts, just let them go, don't focus on them, instead, focus on nothing, slow yourself down, and yes, it does take practice. just stay calm and keep love with you, :)

  • @themikeymonkey Removing thoughts might not be the best description/approach, because of the word Remove, very surgical, sorta temporary. Think about it as the monkey mind (funny because of your account name too), jumping from one thought to another ..you can begin working on this through learning and practicing meditation. I've heard it described that you are a beginner meditator for the first several to 10 years of practice. I had a monkey mind for years and have soothed it through meditation.

  • you had an out of body experiance xD big lol

  • Sayadaw U Rewata?

  • o, the "Mogote" meditation centre is in burma. i wonder if the monk himself is from there.

  • Believe nothing just because a so-called wise person said it. Believe nothing just because a belief is generally held. Believe nothing just because it is said in ancient books. Believe nothing just because it is said to be of divine origin. Believe nothing just because someone else believes it. Believe only what you yourself test and judge to be true." Lord Buddha

  • second that

  • @liuyuki Thank you for this. Awesome synchronicity. I have been thinking in the recent moments about why I believe in some of the things that I do, and that some of it is just based off of faith. And then I look down, and this comment is just THERE. :)

  • @liuyuki Buddha is not a lord, he's not a god, he's a teacher. He makes this pretty clear.

  • this video, and this man made me smile - i can hear and see your/his enormous heart and kindness - thank you for sharing!!!!!

  • interesting. i have had experiences of deep silence in meditation, as if i could be aware at a progressively deeper level and at each point i still found nothing there...

  • NOthing is the opposite of something which is a thought relegated to the dualist world not the one (of) spirit.

  • Nothing opposes anything. This universe and it's contents are all collective. All is one and everything that is thought as opposite is the same. We all vibrate on the same level of being.

  • the deep stillness is alive, it is you. i love it there, nothing bothers me as much inthis world now.

  • @saranagas that nothing there is your true teacher, sounds to me like you're doing great, don't stop.

  • heaven and hell are but mindsets in buddhism.. all religions teach basically same thing only in differnt metaphor and language.

  • lol. All meditation is, is a practice you do

to silence the mind, so you wont go though out you life thinking and thinking about

either something that happened a long time ago,

or fantasying about something that never happened.

mediation teaches you to be alert and in

    the present moment.

Oh and Christianity is so fakelol

They toke a lot of stories and principles

    Form Buddhism.
