What a marvelous performance by two very gifted musicians. Caballe is one of my favorites, and her accompanist was just exquisite. Such a stunning and heart felt aria from the great impressionist. Bravo.

As always, wonderful music exquisitely realized by the great Caballe. I want to share a funny incident from my life. I sang this to audition with the Philadelphia Orchestra for a scholarship. After I sang, I heard one of the judges say, I like the girl who sang the French thing. Yes, I won the competition with the "French thing".

Such a gorgeous interpretation! Her instrument is flawless; smooth as glass! Her vocal coloration and intonation are elegant. Her pointe is exquisite; forte or pianissimo, like a hot knife through butter! Great legato.

Caballe and Zeani share the uncanny ability to bring meaning to each note and gesture, as well as flawless vocal texture.
