Congrats on your 20th "issue" of Knight Watch. I agree with what you say about the motion picture with respects to TWC just letting Glen make the movie he wants to do. I think as far as KARR and Asimov is concerned, they'll do some cheap explaination like a "computer virus" forces their KITT to go rogue. I would rather see it happen by choice, like Anakin in the Star Wars trilogy.

don't take it so serious guys... it's only a tv show. Yess the 3000 is more advanced but take a page out of the rocky balboa movie. Rocky was older and slower but that diden't stop him and the champ diden't beat him either. The same idea could apply here.

Awesome stuff! Knight Watch is better than ever! This is a very good point about the three laws of robotics and the possibility of KI3T turning bad. KI3T shouldn't be able to do harm should he. Hummm.

You'd think so. But as GST said in the preview, there's a secret reason why he's learning.

That to me just implies that something will go wrong.

Though I wonder if it will be similar to KARR in the self preservation aspect of his programing, or rather someone controlling KITTs programing ala Killer K.I.T.T.

They've also hinted to the possibility of the character of Alex working for ulterior motives as well, it could be his influence on KITT that makes him go rouge.

Only time will tell, right?

Furthermore, I know David is in talks on coming back to the show- as a quest star or as a permanent cast. The producer wants to bring K.I.2.T back onto the show-IF- Nbc gives the thumbs up. To me that is Knight Rider. I know people will say times has change. Yes, but this is the Dukes of Hazzard without the General Lee. I have a problem with the retro look. At least, pick a car that looks like it belongs in the future like, K.I.2.T. The 3000 is a hotrod and to name it KITT, I don't see it.

To continue, the 3rd gen TA is an older car but, the Mustang they are using is retro to the 1960's. So in a way the TA is still a newer car than the retro Mustang. K.I.2.T interior is by far better. The TA still looks like the car of the future. I don't see that with the Mustang. NBC is shoving this car down our throats. I'm sure there are some things I will like about this new show but, as of now I'm shaking my head. Unless K.I.2.T comes back to the show, KR won't past the first season.

From what I've been reading off of KRO, Hoff appears to be in final talks to guest star and at Comic-con this year GST stated 'I don't see why there can't be 2 KITTs side-by-side.

Your version of K.I.3.T going rouge is brilliant. The K.I.2.T is and always will be the heartbeat of Knight Rider. But, in the C.G.I. world we live in now-a-days, I'm not impress. Every stunt K.I.3.T is conducting is C.G.I. The Mustang is wrong. Attack Mode is a joke. The foundation growing into a huge corporation is not Knight Rider.. 1 man and 1 car CAN make a difference and it doesn't require a huge team. Only way this new show is saved if K.I.2.T comes back.

Yes. But it was a Made-for-TV reunion movie that David had hoped would bring out a new TV series, but never happened. What I am refering to is a big budget Motion Picture that Glen Larson will produce with the Weinstein Company.
