  • Does it Flat Tunings like D Standard ?

  • @AkimboAliTheS It's chromatic so it recognizes whatever string or pitch you play.

  • how do i tune a half step down with it, for example what lights up when im tuning the low e a half step down?

  • @jackblacksutube Fsharp

  • @jackblacksutube It's chromatic so it will recognize whatever pitch you are trying to tune. I use it on my 5 string bass and it picks up the low B but i'll hit the harmonic (12th fret) just to be absolutely sure.

  • This is a great tuner in my opinion! Mine just went through a wash in an industrial washing machine, and when I found it and dried it out for a couple of days,I replaced the battery and it STILL works! Pretty good quality in my opinion.

  • I just got one myself and it does not work for me. It does what the video says on individual strings, but it does not sound right played all together: it's flat and pitchy? I have to fine tune by ear for all strings to play in tune.

I'm kinda sorry I bought this. It's a waste of money!

  • Does it do flat tuning's?

  • i just got one and love it...seems accurate and it picks up the vibration on electric guitars...I've had a couple issues on stage though with a loud bass player...the vibrations of him i think creates some overtones in my guitar and the tuner picks it up...for stage situations with a loud rock band a plug in tuner is probably better..but for softer environments, this is perfect!

  • I have one of these, it's actually not a bad thing to have. When these kinds of headstock tuners came around a few years back, I was very apprehensive at first, but I finally got one a couple of months back, I was shocked how good they are.

I wouldn't use them to do a major set up or anything like that, but they're great for those on the spot tunings

  • will this work on electric guitars?

  • @Linqua2112

yeah, it works pretty much on everything. It has a built in piezo pickup (also it 'feels' the vibration of the note, No need to plug anything in, which is cool during a show, you don't have to unplug or anything, just clip it on and you can even lower your volume completely and it will still work.

  • Warning! This tuner badly scratched the headstock on my classical guitar. The clamp is too small and is inadequately padded. The tuner portion itself works great, but the clamp is NOT SAFE for classical guitars. The box should come with a warning label!

  • EADGBE is the right order right???but mine is DBEFAC

  • @021965 hey man got he same problem have tuned it with another tuner but when guitar is in tune it still tells me that the low e string is in d wat the fuck personally think this type of tuner is pure crap and i paid £25 just wondered did you get yours tuner sorted

  • i just bought the exact same tuner..the problem is that when i try to tune E string it says D..when i try to tune A it says B..its like the order is messed up..

    and its new. plz

  • @021965

Well if you play your E string, and the tuner says it's in D.... then duh... it's in D. It's not an error with the tuner, your guitar is just way out of tune. So just keep on tuning until it reaches the key of E

  • can it tune to all tunings such as Eb and DADGAD and such?

  • I have an acoustic guitar and it says all the names of the notes wrong it says E is an F # what do i do to fix this

  • Try clipping it on to different parts of the headstock. Also, compare it to another tuner to see if it's just your guitar being a half-step off.
