  • haha its probly like a 20 lug

  • without its Huge ass tires that truck would still be the truck

  • I really don't see how a 460 could move all that weight

  • @shawnkrause871 a bone stock 460 can put out 220 to 300 horsepower. amild built 460 can put 500HP pretty easily. Run through an auto tranny and a double reduction transfer case to those BIG Rockwell axles... yea, that motor has plenty of power to move the truck like it does. It's just like the lil 200hp motor in my 5 ton military truck. Gearing my friend..gearing.

  • this truck is said to weigh 28000 lb (13 tons!) what a BS. tires is 1 ton each, remove them and it looks like any other monster truck, a taller and bigger chassi yes but nothing special, like it would weigh 9 tons without the tires?! (a peterbilt 389 truck weighs 8.5t...) "axle = 5 tons" says it all... so maybe 10 ton with dual tires

  • @xismxist <-- you are so totally clueless my friend is isn't funny. And NO, it doesn't look like just any monster truck. the frame is a one-off. it is HUGE and heavy. then add double transfer cases to get the gearing down... adds up really fast. And even on the tiny lil tires, it's still taller than most normal monsters.

  • @cwjarvis3 HAHAHA what a dumbfuck you must be! what part of my post did you not understand? the axles is rated 5 tons each so it weighs totaly 10 tons TOPS with dual tires (but probarly much less) please do some logical thinking! what part of the comparison with a peterbilt truck did you not understand?

  • @xismxist Yea, I'm suck a dumbfuck... I only OWN one of these and operate it and drive it... So of course I would know KNOWING while you are an expert. My most sincere apologies! You have no clue what the weight rating actually mean so shut the fuck up please? thank you very much.

  • @cwjarvis3 i caught that i spelled knowing instead of nothing, duh.

  • @cwjarvis3 frame is not huge and heavy, its actually much smaller and weaker than todays monster trucks... only the bathub construction is added to give the body its height over the wheels! then it has weak 5 ton axles, a small motor, and also a weak transmission compared to todays truck (whom much withstand much more torque) this bigfoot truck is only for show and can barely move on its own, if it did some racing then transmission & axles would be damaged and tires would come lose

  • @xismxist It was purpose built as a crusher...NOT a racer. It can move just fine with the power and gearing it has. the "weak 5 ton axles" are some of the heaviest you can get and strong as hell. You are completely clueless on this subject. I OWN a 5 ton truck. Monster trucks have used the Military Rockwell 5 ton axles for decades without much problem. Get off your armchair and get out in the real world before trying to make 'expert remarks' about something you have NO CLUE about.

  • @cwjarvis3 if you believe this truck weighs 9 tons without tires (like it claims to do) then please go visit a doctor. A peterbilt 379 for example has a way bigger engine, huge massive transmission and a long frame, and its big rear axles is rated 40,000 lbs each (compared to 11,000 lbs of bigfoot) now what do that tell you? then add the 10 wheels, and it still weighs only 8-9 tons... but we are to believe that bigfoot 5 weighs 13 tons! (9 without tires!) - BULLSHIT

  • @xismxist Small motor? 460 is the biggest gas motor ford makes and was standard in ALL Bigfoot trucks for decades! Still are. Same goes for the C6 transmission. Try researching before making dumb remarks, you cant compare the 'numbers' of the parts on this and a peterbuilt. Different applications completely.

  • @cwjarvis3 yes small! 460 is smaller than 540... the only main weight on bigfoot 5 is its body + tires... all other parts is much weaker than todays monster trucks (i.e motor, axles, gear box and drive shafts) as they must be able to withstand 1500 hp and high fly landings

  • thats one little powerful forklift! ;)

  • @xismxist standard 4000lb commercial rated. very common!

  • @cwjarvis3 the truck "superfoot", who has even bigger and heavier tires than bigfoot... weighs 16500 lbs (7.5 tons) iknow it isnt driveable cause it lacks some parts to get the power down to the axles, but still... it will give you an idea! that bigfoot is no way NEAR 28000 lbs

  • bigfoot V aint so big now is he? LOL

  • Imagine how much torque he has with those small wheels.

  • @fusionstar916 he just got way low geared didn't he

  • Comment removed

  • 1:07 that looks badass as hell

  • isn't this from lots and lots of trucks?

  • they must do that so they can load it into the trailer ?

  • 1:00 See The Difference Between The Tiresss

  • Did they do this in a trailer park?

Bigfoot 5 looks hilarious with those "little" tires. LOL

  • even with those tiny tires it still as high as an actual m-t

  • haha it would look funny if they designed giant skirts to it, but ugly :P

  • dude, without the tires its still like a normanl monster truck. jeez

  • i remember i had the video tape with this part i loved watching it

  • now they can drive it home

  • I want him to go through a drive through with regular tires. YEAH UH... I'd Like 2 big macs. Super size the fries. With coke please....

  • GET-R-DONE

  • what kind of motor is in that thing 8000 hp nitro

  • @wweraw5678 nope... ford 460 mildly built (with a carb, no blower or turbo) with a C6 tranny run through double transfer cases to the Rockwells.

  • worse car to get a flat on the interstate

  • 2:00 LOL

  • wow the little tires

  • can u imagine the torque with toughs teenie wheels O.O

  • 1:10 some people like the back end higher but thats a little overkill lol

  • I would imagine putting those firestons back on is a pain

  • you stupid rednecks!

  • I wonder what the maximum amount of lateral Gs you can pull in a turn without flipping that thing is, 0.2? lol

  • I'll hire these guys to change the winter tires on my VW Polo... lol :)

  • i wonder what gears they use in those rockwells to turn those tires over, gotta be at least 10.0s hahah and those r 5 ton rock wells not 2 tons

  • @brandonfruth Stock Rockwells are 6.44 to 1 very hard to find custom gears for, but im sure somebody does make em.

  • 1:07 looks kind of cool that way

  • dud thats like 20 ft of rom when the tire is off

  • MAMA Bigfoot

  • its a ford ranger with huge tires

  • f150 not a ranger

  • Still love that old design!

  • @drummer2285 aint it a F150 ranger package high boy?

  • @drummer2285 before 1980... the f150 WAS called ranger FYI.

  • Does anyone else think that it is funny that the tallest monster truck in the world changes its tires in a trailer park? lmao

  • That is hilarious , I'm rolling

  • Those look like the tires formerly used on the LeTourneau Tundra snow trains of the 1950's. Although those tires are very impressive, I would LOVE to see a BIGFOOT fitted with the 70/70R-57 tires used on the LeTourneau L-2350 front-end loader, regarded as the world's biggest tires each weighing over 7 tons and just under 13 feet in diameter. That would make this BIGFOOT a TRUE MONSTER TRUCK!

  • @glennrickard1958 Ah that is exactly what they used, bob chandler the owner wanted to find the biggest tires of all at the time to make once and for all the biggest monster truck and found the old land train in a junk yard and bought the tires and put them to a monster truck, and even ran over two regular monster trucks with this bigfoot though I was sure it was origionaly called bigfoot 4 not five, I sware thats what it was called in the video i have of it.

  • @manga12 - The tires were placed on #4 and then #5 was created. The body design was better made to hold the tires.

  • i'm loving it lol

  • big foot to little foot :]

  • this thing didnt actually go off jumps and stuff did it? those tires are so tall and have no width at all..

  • It's an exhibition-only truck, so no stunts.

  • Look at the video response to this video! Look like stunts to me!

  • @howtowakeakar They do stunts? Just not like the other monster trucks.. this is a slow crusher.. it basically crushes things to show how powerfull it is..

  • @APontiacof455cubes No width at all? Im sorry... but four feet of tire tread with is no width? The tires on my semi are only 11 inches wide and these are 48 inches wide! Still pretty wide!

  • that thing would be so tippy

  • you ready for nascar changing tires!!!!

  • 1:10 ..PERFECT! keep it like that. XDD

  • it's amazing to me how it's still ungodly tall even with the transport tires on it haha

  • Dude check your grammar!

  • that would be epic if the jacks slipped out from under it

  • LOL this is an engineers dream, all the custom suspension that had to be made... but no every1 that took part in building this truck was a dumb redneck lol or thats what Mr. Homie is getting at. guess hes just too gangster gangster to appreciate something like this when hes riding around in his beaner mobile

  • I am gangster apparently while getting a PhD in software engineering and I am white, fyi.

  • Ur getting a PhD in bullshit profile says your a 19 year old punk who plays video games and trolls youtube talkin shit. props on the screen name

  • I am currently going to Drexel University, I graduated high school when I was 17.

  • I have stood in the tires and it is a truly an amazing truck and if someone has not heard of Bigfoot this is for them. BIGFOOT STARTED IT ALL PEOPLE!!!!!ESPECIALLY THE KIDDOS!

  • man o man. i love how all you youngsters like to comment on bigfoot 5 but probably weren't even alive in the 80's to see at shows origiannly. it was purposely built for exhibition and all of us little kids loved it! that's is history right there. learn something and read a book and stay in school lol

  • major body lift lol :D

  • WTF

  • anyone else thinks its weird this is in front of a trailer park lol

  • truck looks like its ready 4 the drag strip at 1:10

  • 00:35 wouldnt it suck if the tire fell backwards?

  • xDD

  • It would be nice to see a Bigfoot Monster Truck with the 70/70R-57 82PR tires used on the LeTourneau loader used in mining operations.

  • What do they look like?

  • fhow do you gedt in to the truck a ladder lol

  • *faceplam*

  • Love it Just a idea for you but, Imagine the truck lowered the car over the green centre as low as a normal truck and then drove off like a pick up lol.

Now that would have been some thing special er.

And then transformed into a Ferrari :)

  • that is the funniest thing i have ever seen

  • funny how even the little tire are probably bigger than most standard truck tires. look at 1:11, the tire comes clear up to the guys waist.

  • Comment removed

  • u wouldnt have to worry about this thing sinking. i would put rubber paddle like tred on the tires and drive out on a lake... 12 pack of coors light in the bed.. get my tan on. ha...

my 3 wheeler dosnt have a bed or ide do that on it. lol

  • lol its better wif da small wheels :)

  • omg those lil tires r hideous!!! lol it still amazes me that they have use fork lifts to change em.... and what happens if one gets a nail in it? (the big tires)

  • nothing...the rubber is probably like 4 or 5 inches thick

  • Comment removed

  • Sweet thats pretty cool how long does it take?

  • Holy crap I have this same video on VHS somewhere.

  • So do I.

  • Lamo ^^ I used to do that with my rc cars xD

  • It's kinda just like a big parade float , I've never seen it do anything but drive very slow on flat ground.

  • why they did that?

  • I remember this video from when I was about 4! I must have watched it 50 million times... still have the casette too.

  • cool vid

  • fom bigfoot to smallfoot

  • lol @ those tiny transportation wheels i remember a vid i had when he drove over two moster trucks with them big wheels on

  • thats awesome how long does that take ?

  • 3 hrs

  • Those wheels probably cost tens of thousands of dollars apiece

  • More like $700. He bought those back in the early 90's

  • ye, thats awesome, i think the tires were off some military artic crawler cargo train vehicle. wild

  • my question is, where did they get those tires?

  • They got them from old US military vehicles used in Alaska.

  • military vehicles use those? wow they must be like huge!!

  • Yup, I'm actually going to post the History of Bigfoot 5 which tells about those tires. Hopefully it wont get kicked when I post it

  • Dude i used to have this on VHS.... was awesome. Should find it again haha...

  • WTF Simple as tht

  • That thing would flip pretty easy on normal tires :P

  • PlatypusVomi is right

  • Comment removed

  • that car is so pointless.....

  • Some body lift! I guess it wouldn't fit in a semi with the big tires on it..

  • hahahaha so funny (;

  • mini tires yay!

  • lol mini tires!

  • Wow, that looks easy to tip over with them tiny wheels.

  • imagine how much torque that thing must have with tiny wheels....he could do the mother of all burnouts XD

  • lol!

a monster truck with mini wheels!

  • very big truck I naver seen that went I baby

  • i bet that he gets superb gas mileage

  • Haha yeah it can burn a whole lot of gas per mile;D

  • no not a lot i think just a whole tank in 3000 or so feet. hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • lol no backrest on the forks and a dude climbing the mast and rididng the forks... totally osha approved :-D

  • And I though the regular Monster Trucks looked funny with the travel wheels on!

  • those are donks

  • funny lookin dounuts

  • Thank You!

  • It looks so weird with the regular tires. XD

  • where u keep teh back up rim lol

  • imagin if one of those tires started to roll away that would be some property damage

  • holy that's a strong forklift

  • Strong forklift? Clearly you're an idiot. that truck weighs next to nothing, It's srtipped and the body is fiberglass.

  • no, i'm not actually. obviously you have no clue how much those wheels weigh. I know it's no problem for a forklift, it just do
