  • Awesome

  • I don't need to get high to listen to Pink Floyd. I need to listen to Pink Floyd to get high.

  • sometimes it's all about the studio version!

  • What's the difference between Pink Floyd and Miley Cyrus?

    I'd masturbate to Pink Floyd.

  • @Dethenger Hey I love Floyd as much as the next guy, but i'd rather see Miley Cyrus' naked body than fucking David Gilmour's or Roger's.

  • Replayed it because I wasn't done smoking. Best tokin' song ever.

  • @frickentpot I forever love you.

  • i know that....was trying to be short simply saying

alot of people over look this albium

& the early syd barrett stuff..

"darkside of the moon"...& other albums like "animals" "the wall" "meddle""the final cut" with roger waters on vocals are great

& yeah, damn right they over look & miss out of the syd barrett albums!

  • alot of people look over this album,& animals (sid barret early stuff)

  • @ae19891 Dark Side and Animals are not Syd Barrett stuff...

  • use drugs WITH pink floyd

  • Dark Side of the Moon best album? I think so.

  • why use drugs, if have pink floyd?

  • You wont find a master piece like this, in this millenium. Forget about it...

  • Respect from Argentina!

  • 2 people are colour blind.

  • isn't it too fast?

  • @88Cortex I know what you mean, it does seem slightly sped up, but the pitch hasn't changed so i guess not ahahaha

  • @sneakydogz1 It's all relative. If you were just listening to punk or speed metal, this song sounds slower than it usually does. The rhythm does effect your brainwave frequency. Chances are, if you've just been listening to a slower song, this song will sound fast. Also, in the morning, people say music sounds sped up.

  • Step 1: Listen to this song, because it's great.

Step 2: Listen to the album "Animals" because it's even better.

    You're welcome.

  • im not even on drugs atm but im still tripping soooo much balls

  • who were the two (2) village idiots?

  • go to the link above and write endless before youtube.com and enjoy this masterpiece forever <3

  • Step one: Smoke a lot of weed

    Step two: go to neave.com/imagination/

    Step three: Play this song

Step four: play with the colours

    step five: ???

    Step six: profit.

    You're welcome :)

  • @frickentpot thank you so much!!

skipping the first step tho haha

  • @TASLOCO702 Hey man if weed isn't your thing, that's okay, its still fun as fuck to play with the colours

  • @frickentpot thanksss<333!:]

  • @BlazeetSKANK oh no problem, i figure everyone wants to have fun right?

  • @frickentpot dude, I thought I was the only one! high 5 bro :P

  • @kolonnizado MEGA FIVE!!

  • @frickentpot YOU ARE A GOD.

  • @mahavishnuxc why thank you, I figured all of my friends in the smoking community would enjoy this

  • Remember everyone. Remain humble in your musical efforts or you most certainly will never reach your potential. Never stop learning, never assume you know it all, and never take for granted the gifts you've been given. Use your life for love. Love what you appreciate and what you appreciate will bloom and return the favor. True greatness is achieved through humility, passion, and love. Without those, you've only traveled a portion of the way home... And Pink Floyd embodies the home coming.

  • Listen back in the 70s... the golden age, used to get f-up and watch cars bend around the street corners never considered myself a big floyd fan..but love dark side ...seen some guy the other day with a pink picture of floyd the barber off of the andy griffet show and below it the caption said pink floyd I damn near died laughing !!!!

  • This is just the most amazing solo, everything i love in music is right here.

  • 0:54 0:00 and 3:20

  • hey they ripped of Paul McCartney and Brian Wilson xD

Paul in 1971: listen to minute 1:10 in the song "Uncle Albert "

the single song beats this whole album

and Floyd ripped off from the album Pet Sounds too..

the chords progressions of The Dark side of the moon are based on the chorus of Beach Boy's "Don't Talk"

    Just listen

  • @jammmon Dont care theyre better

  • Comment removed

  • @jammmon almost everything that one creates is based on what one knows. it's nothing new, nothing wrong.

for example most of dylan's songs are influenced by the music he had listened to. he's still considered one of the best songwriters ever

"Good writers borrow, great writers steal." T.S. Eliot

  • @twili9htkid I would add, "and Genius creates."

  • this proves that you dont just listen to pink floyd, you EXPERIENCE it

  • Who doesnt like being stoned when this is possible.

  • ive heard a lot about pink floyd, but ive never heard a single song made by him.this is my first.and it is so.............FUCKING AMAZING!!!!!

  • @madness664 Have a Cigar - Pink Floyd

  • @vaccader15 I truly feel sad for anyone who can't enjoy music without weed.

  • I'm so high right now.

  • one of my favorites songs in the world!

  • This whole album is golden; every damn song.

  • god i love drugs

  • fucking emi keeps deleting my floyd >:O

  • shit dude, nice effects.

  • @thenobs123 this is no dude, and the owner of this vid didnt make the effects, its a band if thats what you meant.

  • @xxxslipknotguyxxx I was talking about the effects pick floyd used lol

  • @GuitarsGalore557 im sorry, but thats not pink floyd

  • I don't suppose anybody here knows where I can find a file-sharing network that hasn't been shut down by the RIAA yet, would you?

  • @RandyPantheGoatBoy thepiratebay org :D

  • @iamthechanceman That doesn't download mp3s, it just downloads torrents, which are useless, because ALL FILE-SHARING NETWORKS HAVE BEEN SHUT DOWN BY THE RIAA!

  • @RandyPantheGoatBoy you can convert the audio files in the torrent to an mp3

  • @RandyPantheGoatBoy dunno, but i know it's possible, pay a visit to google

  • @RandyPantheGoatBoy

Do you guys know how torrents work? I download music all the time in torrent form. You just download hundreds of tiny pieces that assemble themselves as they arrive at your PC. You don't need to do any converting. The files you download for music will be .mp3s (just make sure that the files are .mp3s before you download, I know that at least uTorrent lets you view the files you will be downloading before you download them)

  • @EnslynHalo You're missing the point. I can't use the torrents without a file-sharing program like Limewire, and they've all been shut down.

  • @RandyPantheGoatBoy Just use another program like uTorrent as your client and not Limewire, and instead of searching songs directly within limewire, you just have to go to a torrent site and find your music, that's essentially what Limewire does automatically for you anyways.

  • @EnslynHalo So, wait, are you saying uTorrent is a file-sharing program that hasn't been shut down, or is this more complicated?

  • @RandyPantheGoatBoy Basically yes, there are tons of torrent clients out there, they are kind of hard to "shut down". Limewire was a very mainstream client that most people used for music, so it got shut down. uTorrent IS basically the same thing as Limewire, except the search feature in it sucks, so you are on your own for finding torrents (really, just go the thepiratebay or a similar site) You can send me a PM or whatever if you want, so this comment section doesn't get clogged...

  • Any Colour You Like -> mushrooms babe

  • @GuitarsGalore557 they are, just without wright and waters. they have david gilmour on the vocals. no clue about who's playin the keyboard...

  • Great song, just wish it didnt end so abruptly...

  • pleasing to the ears , shut up you so called musicians

  • who cares if it's pleasing to the ears

  • fuck u xxxChrist u pussy bitch

  • @soundspoon nice

  • is the most beautiful song of the universe... is the musical representation of love and imagination!

  • No not synthesizers, synthesiziers, synthesizers !!

apart from the standard backing Bass and Drums, from 00 - 1:20 the lead is a synth with what sounds like a Hammond organ backing

after 1:20 that is Dave on Guitar, probably feeding thru a minimoog which is giving that chopped sound, with the synth coming back near the end of the piece

Synthesizers in 1973 were minimoogs - one note at a time jobs

the Polymoog didn't arrive until 1975

That's what makes DSOM so special

    it really is hand crafted

  • @1336k

David is playing the whole time with a Uni-Vibe. The intro is a synth. The Drums are real. And the first synth was made in1959.

  • this is my favorite song of PF on this album !

  • Fucking genius!!! Every last bit of this album is pure genius :D

  • 1:18-end is orgasmic

  • ROCK PROGRESIVO EN Y PARA SÍ

  • For all you guys who wanna trip:

Get mimosa leaves, dry them in the sun, sprinkle mushroom juice on them, let it dry, smoke it, and listen to this, it actually works, and it doesn't harm you. It's fun as hell

  • This album still sounds like it's from the future!

  • I dont need drugs to visualise what I see when I listen to this song.

    I feel it inside me.

  • @Compilation1215 I'll light up to that. (Ironic, eh? Lol)

  • @Compilation1215 You're missing out

  • @Compilation1215 That is truly a great thing. But, you still don't know what your missing...LOL

  • @Compilation1215 wrong, only drugs make this possible

  • @Compilation1215 Drugs help (just marijuana) nothing harcore really. i do feels things sober no doubt but when im high...its on a whole new level. i feel like im flying with them around the moon and shit.

  • psychedilics !!!!!!!!!! :]

  • Turn out the lights. Fire up a candle or two. Grab your favorite narcotic or herbal refreshment and a good pair of HEADPHONES and listen to this song. Just don't blame me if half of your brain melts from what you will hear AND see.

  • chronic + Pink Floyd = : )

  • @TheSlevaslava dude yes

  • This is my favorite from the album.

  • RAINBOWS ;D

  • Why is there even a stupid dislike button. If that person dislikes this song. 1. They are crazy and 2. If they dont like it why are they listening to the song.

  • @minitburt

    2. To discover

  • YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • No start, no end...forever!!!

  • the world would have never had this track were it not for the genius of richard wright. RIP the best there ever was. really i feel wright and mason were the heart and soul of floyd

  • @jasonkorthuis I understand your coment, But I'll have to disagree mate, I beleive the soul and the heart of the Floyd were them all together, making the best music ever recorded

  • sparklehorse is way better talent!!

  • thank Alan Parsons for the stoned space effects

  • Bonechilling

  • You can have any colour you like... as long as it's black

  • hehe, Henry Ford :)

Never thougth of it in connection with this song, but maybe

  • I just can't find words to describe this masterpiece!

  • you don't need words, it's pink floyd

  • @tarjr94 hahahaha, it's true!

  • 1:34 - 1:44 .... my friends and I used to choof on bongs to this verse of the song,

  • I do smoke bongs on this verse!

  • For whatever reasons, this sounds so relaxing to me.....

  • it does sound really relaxing it helps ease things off your mind

  • this album will be timeless, like Beethoven or any of the classical composers.

  • so can anybody figure out why a 3 sided piece of glass can make a white light give up it's colours ?

  • google image Prism

  • guitar solo is just utterly ridiculous tight that I want to bang my head into a wall.

  • Best album ever, past and future.

  • Pink floyd = my kids first music

  • 1:19....

    Amazing.

  • 3 minutes, 26 seconds of pure musical genius.

  • So trippy, so cool, so chill.......

  • Rick, Rock In Peace

  • These sounds are incredible. And these are all made by hand not like today which is just a computer.

  • @nbafreak41 Oh I'm pretty sure Floyd would have used computers if they where avaible at that time and helped them to create a sound or where inspiring. They used Synthesizers and 24 Track Recording with lot's of Sound Effects to record this Album wich was State of the Art Technology during that days. Anyway what i wanted to say is: It's not the computer's fault if the music that's created with it sounds bad. It's the person sitting in front of it.

  • @nbafreak41 Well, the analog devices they had are not exactly acoustical instruments, so "by hand" is a strong way of putting it.

  • @nbafreak41 I couldn't agree more. Does anyone even play a real musical instrument anymore?

  • @barfinandpukin You know that this whole track is mainly synthesizers? And if you say that is a real instrument, you'll have to say that VST's, drum machines, etc. are real instruments too... :P

  • @Phasemix

You do realize you play a synth like a keyboard. Drum Machines and VST's aren't anything like an actual instrument it's fake. You actually have to play a synth.

  • @Ghoppdude Yeah I know that, since I make music myself. But many of the musicians using VST's are controlling them from a keyboard. :) But hey, instead of discussing what's right or not, let's enjoy the great music instead. DSotM is one of my favourite albums, after all. :D

  • @barfinandpukin Me, i play bass (upright and electric), mandolin, & attempt to play keys

  • @nbafreak41 i wonder how did they do the sounds with what instruments

  • @mowmowclub2 Synthesizers, synthesizers, and more synthesizers.

  • @nbafreak41

    YES. You said it man.

  • Ah, my favourite from this album although I love all of DSOM. I can trip to this track without narcotics......

    Peace

  • ey no no no no no no no no no

    ok

    yes
