Bush won Montana by 20 percent. Obama, as of this writing, leads by 5 percent. This explains why McCain has rearranged the deck chairs and appointed a Rove/Fox News veteran as his auxilary brain. Amazing that McCain could stoop so low [ to conquer] considering the vile and unforgivable attacks he suffered in South Carolina in 2000 at the hands of these same thugs.
I'm so sick of people posting things about Obama's lack of experience in legislature. Most of that is just stereotypical due to his young age. My God, at least he has a damn clue what's going on in this world. A presidential candidate should not be judged on their race, their age, their relations with other people, whatever, a candidate should be judged solely on their honesty and political views/ideas and nothing else.
I used to live in Mont. and I now live in Ill. Sen. Obama is my Congressman and I can say he has done a decent job as Sen.
However, I would rather have Sen. Clinton as my Pres. I believe she has what it will take to beat up on Carl Rove and company. I wish I could say that B.O. could win with the Change Wash message. However, the Reagan Dems in this country are going to vote for McCain because Rove and Co. are going to SwiftBoat him right into Dukakisville. I hope I am wrong.
I say Obama, please don't let that "bitter" comment bring you down. OBAMA YOU are a GREAT MAN!!! In the last 2 years, I no longer receive a bonus, my pay was cut, all of my travel funds were cut, no vacations, and my workload was doubled. Furthermore, gas prices are cutting even more into my paycheck. But I don't care. They can take everything from me, including the clothes off my back. I would give up my job to stop this Iraq War because I know it's right.
Yes, the pain is most certainly trickling up, to the government, and to greedy corporations.
When greedy corporations, lenders, oil companies, credit card companies and governments take all your money, ships jobs away, and pay you as little as possible while paying CEO's MILLIONS,you have no disposable income, and the economy nosedives since 2/3rds of the US economy is CONSUMER SPENDING! Too bad its also affecting small business owners.
"They weren't even asking for them," Sen. Obama on tax breaks for the wealthy. I'm sorry that strikes me as funny! I don't know why. Go get 'em Barack
Many Americans don't know this... How does the US pay for the Iraq War with so much debt. Bush is borrowing money from foreign countries to fund the Iraq war. For example, Mexico which already has many living in poverty... and Japan, where many are losing their jobs and getting pay cuts. Japan's taxes were raised 10% last year to lend money to the current Administration. Mr. Obama, please help put a stop to this injustice.
Obama is nothing more than a spin doctor. No realistic plans; no idea about what it'll take to fix the country. He has absolutely no record of legislatural experience, and for 20yrs has sat and listened to Rev Wright spout off all that hate against whites and America... and apparantly agreed with it or he would have left.
He's a wannabe rock star with a bunch of wide eyed groupies following him blindly. A pied piper for idiots. He talks the talk but can't walk the walk. He'll destroy the U.S.
Obama has more has done more legislature than Clinton, his plan are the most realistic and most important of all he is honest. The tougher the issue gets the more challenging he becomes.
And if you took some time to look at full speeches of Rev Wright you will see he makes more sense than Bush, Cheney, McCain and Hillary together. Because patriotism is not unconditional love for your country, it is seeing the good and the bad sides and act accordingly to it to create a better nation
If he wasnt moving people to act, to meet one another, and to form a common unity in the country I would absolutely agree that your comment was likely.
I certainly have respect for both McCain and Obama, and that alone is an experience I have never had in Presidential politics.
That is pathetic, you talk about spin and your main argument is Rev Wright? The last time I checked that is spin. Obama's plans are all realistic, that is why he touts fuel efficiency to line workers in Detroit, he tells the truth. Take time to actually know the whole truth before you go on the internet to make yourself look like an ass.
Obama Supporters should donate to his campaign, even if it is $25! The donation process is really easy!
Obama has to defeat Hillary in the next few primaries/caucases so that we can be rid of LYING, WHINING HILLARY for good! Wow, how tired are Americans of Hillary Clinton!!!! Won't she just go away?!!!
Obama Supporters in America and abroad, please donate today on obama's official website!!!!!
Obama is a smooth guy- "The Other Candidate" lol. SO SAVVY. He makes you want to go to the state where he is, because he sounds like he really appreciates every state, and not just the "big" states. Obama is a dynamic influence to people- brings awareness, urgency, comfort, and truth to a government that hasn't been like-able. Obama makes our politics engaging and moving.
Haha yeah Obama! If you can get Montana, you're pretty much set for the election. I love that state and I want to protect it, not suck it dry of oil and other pollutive resources. Lets give America a new way of doing things. OBAMA 2008!!!
HE HAS NO EXPERIENCE!!! all he is is a junior senator!!!! nobody in congress will take him serious, ive seen almost every other politician have the same "ideas" as he does
Hillary Clinton is also a junior senator. It has nothing to do with experience or ability, merely what order you were voted into office. I'm not even American and I know this. Has your education system failed you this badly?
So it is not my responsibility to pull myself up by my "bootstraps"? If I don't do it then who will? Should I expect the government to do it for me? After the war in Iraq, Hurricane Katrina, and 9/11 I think it was made clear that the government can not take care of it's people. Obama's answer is more government. Bush's answer is more government. The government is not the answer. We need to wake up and quit acting like a bunch of victims. We have to take responsibility for ourselves.
how about a balance....where government is accountable and responsible to us..in situations where government is supposed to help we should expect it..without negating our won personal responsibility to succeed through our own efforts...we can't just simply accept that government has no role...it's what we've been brainwashed to think...we no longer believe in government as a purveyor of anything worthwhile or useful...but it's up to us to change it...isn't it?...if we elect the right people.....
Vince, a government that does not responsibly invest in infrastructure like the Levees in New Orleans, and a government that reacts to the devastation of Katrina by going shoe shopping and then attending a Broadway production is a GOVERNMENT THAT IS ONLY REPRESENTING ITSELF. It is time for a change. Enough of government run by those only concerned with the entitlement of the rich.
I am hopeful again. I would go and vote and not feel good about it. It was more like choosing the lesser of the two evils(Didn't vote Bush-How do those who did feel about it now? I saw it while he was campaigning that he was not going to be a good president). Now I really have a choice. Someone to be excited about. Someone to really believe in. I can't wait. Feels like I got ants in my pants.lol it tickles. That's how excited I am. Have a nice day everybody!
special interest and corporate giants ripped-off our government. 40 million bucks for the month of march says we can buy it back. it will be fun to have a president that is actually cool. it will be a gas to have a guy who is actually focused on the will of the people.
Love you, Obama. The long campaign is only the best for you. You are getting people involved and registered and reaching out. You are gonna sweep McCain in November.

Won't it be great to have a President once again who has our backs, who cares about us in the suburbs and small towns of America, who isn't a stooge of the fats cats on Wall Street.
All across the nation, people are coming together to recapture the America we love and long for.

This in political savvy, right here, and it's what it takes to win. Couple that with his natural sense of integrity and we have a 130% great candidate!
Haha, I love it! That bartender is the very phenomena that make Sen. Obama so important. We will come together across all lines, and move together as one...E pluribus unum
How can anybody vote for anyone else? Obama will put America on top again if we are smart enough to elect him!! Is he the reincarnation of MLK?? Seems so!!
