@muchohumpty Humans can make mistakes in their observation, however saying human are bad observer is a blanket statement that I can't agree with. We depend on human observation in many area of life including our justice system. The bases of any scientific discovery begins with human observation.
@muchohumpty As I stated earlier human do make mistakes, but the chances of a group of people making the same mistakes on a single event dramatically drops as the number of actually witnesses rises. This is a very basic rule in statistic, and it is why a prosecutor's case gains strength as more witnesses comes forward.

@muchohumpty If you've done your research then you would have known the ladies are witnesses to a craft flown over their house (8:30pm). The lights you're refering to are known as the " Phoenix lights" (10:30pm) which could be flares.

Then years in the future, people will only remember the hoax, which gets all the credit for the sighting. People remember the *explained* sighting and not the unexplained one. Few people consider the possibility that a single report can actually consist of multiple independent events, one unexplained, the other deliberately orchestrated to dis inform.

Hard to gather scientific evidence when a UFO is seen by ppl on the ground and the military of course knows about them and scrambles jet fighters or whatnot to intercept them and chases them away, or worse yet when something does land or crash they close off the area for miles and then remove any trace of the evidence. In 1965 my mother swore she saw a UFO. She was standing in a parking lot in New Jersey. She saw a light streak across the night time sky. My father wasn't with her but drove back to the parking lot that same night. The streak disappeared for awhile then reappeared. It turned out a strobe light had recently been placed on top of a high rise and the light was bouncing off of billboards that were not lit at night. From a distance, it looked very scary and very real.

Ask yourself: is this evidence strong enough to convict a person of murder? How can they tell what they did see? Late at night, no visibility from below and only a few lights without sound. They're stating UFO and alien life forms without even knowing what it is. He has some evidence of test flights at least.

A sighting remains Unidentified until it is corroborated by factual and proven evidence to prove otherwise, whether a trained observer or not. Educated guess work is pure speculation.

This is a very basic rule in statistic, and it is why a prosecutor's case gains strength as more witnesses comes forward.

@muchohumpty If you've done your research then you would have known the ladies are witnesses to a craft flown over their house (8:30pm). The lights you're refering to are known as the " Phoenix lights" (10:30pm) which could be flares.
I have no reason to be bias, UFO are a subject of curiousity I have nothing to gain either way.

Here is the formula for disinformation: When a UFO is sighted somewhere, make sure a hoax sighting occurs soon after (i.e. throw flares). Then years in the future, people will only remember the hoax, which gets all the credit for the sighting. People remember the *explained* sighting and not the unexplained one. Few people consider the possibility that a single report can actually consist of multiple independent events, one unexplained, the other deliberately orchestrated to dis inform.

Hard to gather scientific evidence when a UFO is seen by ppl on the ground and the military of course knows about them and scrambles jet fighters or whatnot to intercept them and chases them away, or worse yet when something does land or crash they close off the area for miles and then remove any trace of the evidence. In 1965 my mother swore she saw a UFO. She was standing in a parking lot in New Jersey. She saw a light streak across the night time sky. My father wasn't with her but drove back to the parking lot that same night. The streak disappeared for awhile then reappeared. It turned out a strobe light had recently been placed on top of a high rise and the light was bouncing off of billboards that were not lit at night. From a distance, it looked very scary and very real.

I've said it before: The existence of alien beings requires absolute evidence. Fuzzy camcorder videos and eye-witness accounts are intriguing but not substantial enough. Ask yourself: is this evidence strong enough to convict a person of murder? I can't understand why an alien race advanced enough for interstellar travel would expose themselves in a hide-and-seek game.

Without such a proof, tha claim have to stay open. Forensic proofs follows another logic. Witnesses and circumstantial evidence are enough here, since facts to prove are simpler here. (E.g. presence of a human in a room on time x)

I just don't believe an alien race advanced enough for interstellar travel would play cat and mouse games. Either they would expose themselves as NASA does with our own planetary exploration, or they would have the technology to successfully hide for our view. It is paramount that the scientific community remain extremely skeptical until the time when the evidence is undeniable. The evidence so far is easily deniable.

I had UFO experience on 22th March 2007, between 10:00 and 10:03 PM, a bit long to explain with all details but was going home from the office and saw black triangle very clearly coming the oposite way, as big as an airplane,but human made its called TR-3B Astra Locust, US military engine,btw Im not saying that all UFO were aliens, but believe : TR-3B can be human made but the technology wasnt of this planet...search TR-3B Astra locust in youtube> thats exactly wat I saw this day!

Its irrelevant who see's what, where or when.
A sighting remains Unidentified until it is corroborated by factual and proven evidence to prove otherwise, whether a trained observer or not. Educated guess work is pure speculation.
Debunkers Logic
(1) Absence of evidence is evidence of absence.
(2) If you cannot put down the sighting, put down the person instead. Its easier.

the problem with skeptics are that even though people say what they saw backed by video evidence, they still dont believe them. Even some government afficials testify to seeing ufos. I think the agruement should be are ufos from another planet or secret military aircraft? Obviously they are real. If you are a skeptic then you should think, "what would make me believe?"
