i like to go to net when i play. (im an all court player) my netplay is fine, but when im at the baseline, i try to hit short angles to open up the court to sneak in but i miss the shot wide about half the time. (i take risks when i play and i dont really liked to just outlast the player, but i will if i need to) any tips about this?

try hitting deep down the middle and come in--or deep and HIGH to backhand corner and come in...angles beget angles so if you open an angle and come in, there's a line shot and a steep angle reply you have to watch out for.

i guess what i'm saying is tennis is a game of errors so make them hit a shot, don't make the error first. my attitude is when I play...you're going to hit a hell of a lot of passing shots...and if you make them, you win.
