  • just curious what you think of it now,,,I just tried it out. Works surprisingly well, but still laggy and everything looks kind of blurry. The only thing going for it is that you dont' have to install games, and you have thousands of games at your fingertips literally. I just tried out 10 games in 10 minutes. I think you need a hard-wired internet connection for the games to look and respond good enough for most gamers

  • the concept of onlive is definatly the future of gaming but not at this present time.

the people are not ready for it, likewise the industry is not ready for it. The only way i can see it becoming a success is if they drop the prices of their games drasticly so there is more of an incentive to make a purchase. ultimatly there is nothing this service can offer the end user that a pc,ps3,xbox cant already offer!. at the moment ied avoid like the plaque lol

  • your sexy voice is so manly it's unbelievable!

  • i can train my eyes to stare at one area for 10 min and i'm doing it now!!!

  • has anyone ever told you that you are freakin beautiful

  • oh and now you are bashing pc gaming!

  • ouch wii basher!!

  • All i did was look at the thumbnail and well here i am :D

  • While customers wont benefit from not being able to resell games, the production chain will. No more used games market putting money in the pockets of customers just lots of lovely first sales and because of that games WILL get cheaper!!! ... and then I woke up.

  • cleavage EXTREME

  • "Nice rack", he said to the random girl on YouTube

  • Mostly cons? Im not sure how much Onlives improved over the last two years but it works great now. If your internet sucks your experience will suck but uf u have good internet its awesome. No lag and anyone who says otherwise has either never tried it or just isnt into new ideas. Cloud gaming is awesome and isnt meant to beat regular gaming its just an alternative

  • Dos he have cancer or something moderbote

  • im a nintendo fan. i dont intend 2 get a 360 or ps3 so onlive suits me well i guess.

  • your pretty good. i love your videoz ash

  • You have an interesting perspective on this new gaming device. I was seriously considering purchasing one because my PS3 stopped reading discs and my xbox360 is having color resolution problems. I guess I'll wait for the next gen wars.

  • HTC recently invested 40 million on onlive.

  • didnt even know it was released!

  • I think that "cloud gaming" and cloud anything really is the future. But the keyword is future.

In my unprofessional opinion, i would say that 3 - 6 years, everything will go cloud. And that would be totally awesome. Not as awesome as your boobs tho. :/

  • I picked up a Radeon HD 4870 for $99 and threw it into my $60 2004 emachines with a single core with < 2 GB of ram and i'm getting 75 fps constant max settings at 1280x1024 in source games, 30-40 in Borderlands and Oblivion (max all settings).

I'm getting ready to move to a new board and Phenom x4 @3+ ghz for under $120, and it'll only cost ~$100 for another 4870 and put the two cards in CrossFireX (or sell the old card to subsidize a 6870).

Point is, gaming hardware is cheap.

  • @jvdthwip dude its maybee cheap if you are buying last generation components, i mean even the Radeon 5000 series or the GTX 400 are last gen, its expencive and i do wish it was more affordable but thats the way it is man.

by the way still a nice system you've got, i got a Intel i7 960, asus Rampage 3 Formula (3way crossfire/SLI capable), 6Gb Kingston T1 memory, a 750 Corsair PSU, and my crown jewel, my MSI GTX 580 twin FrozrII,

love my set up but damn expencive

  • @MrSuckmyballs32 Yeah, my bro buys bleeding edge hardware for his nvidia surround setup, which costs thousands of dollars. Sure it looks beautiful, but I was speaking more or less as an alternative to OnLive. Still, obviously Intel chipsets and Nvidia cards are going to be a bit more expensive since it's a bit finer technology. People still pay quite a bit even for used parts, so imo once you've "bought into" a decent rig, you can sell lastgen tech on craiglist to subsidize cutting edge hardware

  • @jvdthwip yea, sadly the price you are paying to get the components and then the price you will get out when you are selling its really depreciated.

not to say the hardware is bad thou, its just not up to date with upcomming hardware.

by the way have you seen the new Radeon 6990? that thing is a beast of a card, i honestly think that it can beat the new GTX 590, the 590 has a lower core-clock so it can better manage heat, and with newer amd drivers, the 6990 will get better and better.

  • Just saying about Halo, Combat Evolved was released for Mac...

  • well, from what i hear so far about the pros an con's.... on the onlive.com site , it says no refunds an no oh i forget, but anyways, if u buy this consoule, an what if it dose fail then im stuck wit a nice looking controller.,so that will make it a buy at ur own risk, dont get me wrong but , its just 2 many secrects for me , i guess ill have 2 wait an see , so wit that , thank you ole breasted one , muah. lol had 2 say that , so do ur resherch, cause i never met a pair of breast that ever lied

  • you may wanna add those annoying red and blue updates within the video since apperently you love your old videos lol just to let us know this is an old video but yeah i watched both parts really nice bit how about you make a new vid of course with all the new information keep that in mind

  • Interesting points. My friend has Onlive, and I think it's the worst idea ever. He doesn't own the games he's paying for, and I've spent way too much time trying to convince him that physical discs are better. They can just take his games whenever they feel like it. But I agree with you totally, I do see more cons with Onlive than pros. Good work, keep making more videos like this.

  • Wow! I love just listening to your logic. I'm definitely going to subscribe. You are a rare find in a world of dumb asses lol

  • I do like your comment and you did backup your comments with facts. Most people do not understand how difficult to have a new idea and try to make it in this dog eat dog world. The onlive idea is great, but the company even as of right now it's too new, and for a long time they been having the same games out with no update, but it does seem that the company is gaining momentum as more companies are joining in on the cause. I just ordered my device today and mainly because if you do like the pro

  • personally? i dont give a shit about what u think on onlive. its pretty revolutionary that they created this feature to be able to play games an old pc without having the graphics ps3 and xbox use. if u dont like it, or have an issue not believing it, then you should go on ur console and play eternally on it. onlive didnt change 2/3 times like ps with ps2 and ps3. about the price revenue, they make you want to first play the demo of the game, then you MUST buy it to keep enjoying it. see?

  • I just realized that, all I did was stare at those sexy buns this entire video. You have magical powers, and I cannot resist. lol

  • news flash, wii sucks...I've played 3 games on the console that I liked

  • This camera angle is .... curious.

  • No wait, Onlive IS a massive FAIL. All the morons who said "you havent done your research!" Should take some of their own advice. If you have read anything from anyone who is NOT on the payroll for Onlive, well then you would know how fucking stupid you are and the Onlive idea.

  • @Cameronx9

I have OnLive, and it is pretty decent. Will I stop playing my xbox 360? hell no black ops coming out soon, and im used to console gaming. Only got onlive because I wanted to play certain pc games (Crysis, UT3) but so far they have a bunch of console games and not really anything for the pc. It is really nice though games are loaded insanely fast, but I just prefer my xbox controller :)

  • Onlive is going to be a massive FAIL.

  • Are you a beta tester? Please look into your facts. Yes, someone will pay for market share lost and gained: End user, endorsers, licensed companies, etc. Microsoft is getting a make over. Look a little bit more into that. They are experiencing a big dent in there market share from Google and others. But especially Google co. They may be getting desperate.

  • I think you should have titled your video "My opinion of OnLive". You speculate about the price and which games will be available but don't really show that you've done enough research. A very good point you made was you are unable to play your games with players on different console networks (although, this is a con of a new-gen console being released and not tied to this console alone). If 60 gig download limit is the norm then xlive would really only be suitable for casual gamers

  • @dasteve I love how people say I didn't do the research, when they failed to do the research on this video. It was made over a year ago, and is based on ALL of the information that was available at the time. Check your dates people.

  • @AshBradford do you play saints row 3 on Onlive and also add me on Onlive and my gamertag blackknightdude if you want to play together.

  • its like the same as wow the price that is

  • consideration lol

  • your just jealous b/c your in Canada. it going to be so ill. and its not espensive. they wouldnt have got investors or game publisher supprt if it wasn't profitable. haha your wrong about every thing. onlive is going to change every thing.

  • onlive is the shizzzz. girl what you talking about. especially since i have it for free for a year. take that lady how you like them apples. haha im the california and i got it for free.

  • @ilovemaryam08 lol im in texas and i got it free to and its like 5 bucks a month if we want to go on to :P

  • I believe that i heard a rumor of $180 a year subscription... i dont know if you can confirm or deny this but if its true that meens you would only be able to play for 1 year before you would be paying over console price

  • @clazy44 Yes, I have to agree it is a very good marketing strategy. Actually, two very good marketing strategies. :)

Truth is I'd probably never watch this video otherwise. But I'm glad I did, not only for her looks, but most importantly for her brains.

  • How many people are carrying their PS3 or Xboxes around? How portable are they? Sure the lag on the connection will be one of the crucial make or breaks, but the biggest plus for the customer should be the fact that you will not have to keep up with the technology any more because they'll do it on their server farms and that makes their life easier, not having to worry about backward compatibility. And a huge point for the publishers - no media (DVD, Bluray...) means more control over licence.

  • Hope that OnLive competitors are paying people bashing their service, so you are not just wasting your time. ;) Yeah, most games will remain on their excursive consoles, but service like OnLive will be opening up a brand new market for new breed of games. You have some good points in your comment but not using the service makes it just hear-say.

  • Wow, it's amazing how many clueless fucktards here say that Ash is wrong, and insult her intelligence...

I would like to point out that all of the reviews done by professionals for Onlive, have, so far, pointed out that OnLive is an EPIC FAIL!

Just as Ash, me, and alot of other people who actually have a clue (don't only think they have a clue) about how the internet works, said it would...

SO yeah, Onlive Sucks hairy donkey balls, and if you think otherwise, get off the fucking internet.

  • Only thing threating the Wii is the Kinetic..

  • You know it's funny, I had a dream that Onlive did really poorly and bombed. It's sad if that happens, I seem to have that knack for dreams actually happening for real. Here's the prediction, Onlive will sink just like the Dreamcast but won't be cherished as Sega's fallen system. Their server outlets will be put to better use but cloud technology will BOOM. You heard it first.

  • lol this being a year old really shows

onlive is 5-10 $ a month depending if you

bungie made its LAST xbox exclusive halo game

onlive uses a technology that can use 3g speeds (100ms ping) but with limits on an iphone :D

  • @robdmhaze WOW you really don't know what your talking about do you, you have obviously not done any research on this video (I couldn't resist making fun of you there). The post date say a year ago and i gave all of the info that was out at that time. Try paying attention before you flame people troll.

  • Oh so Halo 3 = All first party titles? Halo 3 kinda butt fucks js.

  • Great, this is the new DRM ubisoft has been looking for. Watch them release exclusives where YOU CAN'T EVEN OWN THE GAME, you can pay full price for a server 50 miles away to play your game. I hope this fails.

  • would you rather throw down thousands of dollars to play crysis on max, or play it for a few months for a fraction on the price?

  • @Destroyr8290 lol. thousands... you are funny.my computer is about $700 and runs it max in 1080...

  • well i'm not really intrested eather, considering the conference i saw from them they didnt mention any exclusives

but, what if they do get good exclusives, like i got a ps3, but i got an xbox 360 just for left 4 dead 1, 2 and dead rising and up coming left 4 dead 3, see my point,

people are forgetting the exclusives the console comes with

  • Comment removed

  • it doesnt cost as much as world of warcraft

  • they have fixed alot of what you talked about. and prices have been up

  • nice boobs

  • Why did you use such a low neckline, therefore displaying your cleavage? This will only make pre-puberty kids not pay attention to whatever you are saying.

But anyways, I hate this whole OnLive idea because I like to picture myself having the freedom to play my games twenty years from now. I still have my n64 and my snes and I still play them (I really do).

Also I live in Brazil; we don't even have PSN or XBOX Live! I know what you might be thinking: [continues]

  • "Wait, I have ran into several brazilians/latinos on the Live or PSN". Well, PSN we can play, we just cannot make purchases. As for the XBOX Live, we just do what I did with PSN: create an account with a fake foreign address - I've heard some Americans do that with Japanese accounts to get early access to Japanese titles.

And I really doubt this would work, I am totally with you on this. Even if it worked, I would have to worry about my internet connection. Meaning: no internet, no games! =/

  • You really need to update this topic because lots of these "what if's" have been answered and if you look at the partners that have joined with On Live...there are some big ones

EA,Eidos,THQ,Epic,Nvidia,ATI,Ubisoft,Codemasters,AMD and im sure much more will come

Secondly, the microconsole is said that the cost is so minimal that in some packages it is FREE

Game prices have been said will be cheaper than retail due to no cost for the publisher for discs and cases

    Please update what is wrong

  • @bobbyh559 And why would I bother to update? I made this video over a year ago. If you want to watch videos about onlive it's your onus to check the date if that sort of thing bothers you. Besides, the things you listed hardly change my opinion. The Onlive team has been going on about their 'cheaper' games since they announced their project. I simply don't believe it.

  • @AshBradford You should really do an update

  • @bobbyh559 exclusive games.the ones ppl want to play.will not be out on this for years after words.this is a joke onlive sucks and is gonna die off really fast

  • they have already announced that the monthly fee is $14.95 not including the price of games which imo is modest.

  • Interesting comment about ATI and Nvidia. I thought the same thing until I found out that BOTH ATI and Nvidia are partners with onlive now.

  • its going to fail cause people want console wars and its on are genes

  • Onlive thinks there hotshit.

They don't think consoles matter anymore or high-end pcs in general.

They honestly think people will pay for there subscription and for what? Sounds like one of the biggest wads of BS to me. I like my TV and i like to play in 1080p.

Screw that shit. It will fail easily.

  • fuck onlive...i just came to see you.....WOW

  • Hey, I have another question... You know how the videos and demos say 50 miles away... What about someone who lives like 2000 miles away from Florida to California?

  • @ AshBradford About the games and the funding and such... Have you read that they have partnered with some good companies like Ubisoft, NVidia, ATi, Atari and stuff like that? So the companies are most likely to help fund the program or as they say "console" cause if Atari and Ubisoft games don't work... They both lose money, its like a helping hand. Good videos and points! Just commenting... Thanks

  • This is probably the best discussion of OnLive's practically applicable features that I've had the pleasure of listening to, so far. Thanks for the good videos.

  • First, great set of boobs. A bit distracting but thank GOD you are interesting, and smart. I agree with you on almost every point.

  • A year now and now, I'm sure you're a fully believer now, if it's not out yet. Ok, next step, from Onlive to Emotiv. XD

    2012: Gamers' Apocalypsis

  • When are they brining it out in England? As it said it was going to be released on winter 2009 and it didn't... Or i missed it... but that would be hard to miss. Anyway good points. =)

  • to your point with the wii:

there are at the moment no controllers for those games, but i dont think that this will be a problem for them to transmit even those commands through the internet it will cost you the controller but you have to pay for it also if you own a wii

  • well 720p is good it's actually the most common for games even on the ps3 plus the xb360 only upscales to 1080p wich technically isnt full HD also don't you guys have unlimited broadband and what is the max speed you guys have ? some things you missed.. it would allow PC gamers to play the Console gamers on certain tittles and it would eliminate hackers/cheats and piracy plus more but we would be here 4ever but other than that great vid and great views plus your HOT! and i was titnotized lol

  • Interesting ideas, also nice to see a girl who likes games)

  • I don't like the idea of playing my hardcore type games on the pc. I like to keep pc stuff seperate from gaming stuff, cuz it can slow your computer down

  • And also if they dont get along with the ISP's, theres this thing called throttling. Most BitTorrent users are familar with this. Where your your bandwidth is lowered.

Plus in the GDC clip they mentioned about using little upload but lots of download when someone asked about a bandwidth cap, saying that they are considered a "good citizen" by ISP's. The devs most dont know but u can be capped on upload and/or download.

Bandwidth cap is a BIG IF.

  • And since its browser based on the PC, browsers issues like simultaneous connections....do I have to have only OnLive running if I wanna use it?

Like depending on how ur system is setup, u cant browse the web and use BitTorrent, download from newsgroups at the same time unless u tweak some stuff. Now, is the average user gonna know how to tweak TCP/IP, connection, latency stuff?

  • Yea damn Ms. you look like heaven should be when I die....now that thats outta way....

Nice con list. All the haters gotta admit these are some valid points. And the bandwidth cap from your ISP is a BIG WHAT IF.

  • you are one of the sexiest gamers i have ever seen

  • i wonder if they can keep these servers up & running our current recession?

  • the big concern i have is hackers and viruses like she said anything happens to the servers its fucked and it wont take long before people are hacking the system i dont care how clever they think they are theres always some one better who finds a way !!!

  • btw its ur moms and grandmas fault u couldnt play onlive there :P

  • well no1 plays halo any more :P its all mw2 now and since microsoft doesnt own it they're prob. gonna have that on onlive

  • you have nice tits....

now with that out of the way.... Onlive is a brand new way to basically connect with other players in a whole new evolutionary way and sure you have to pay monthly to play and stuff but really this machine is meant for you to get the full LIVE experience. Personally I live in America and I'm glad to have the opportunity to test out this new product before any other country. : ]

  • OnLive is still not out in stores. I don't think there going to be out tell they figure out how to transfer info faster then the speed of light. I live in Canada so it will be like 3 or 4 years before i mite get one.

  • You can't say how much money you will or will not save with no actual game price points announced yet. There are so many "what ifs" right now it isn't feasable to make these assumptions.

  • This is a discussion of the ifs. That's the whole point. Onlive announced it's service ages ago, but still haven't provided any more information. What else is there to go on?

  • WEAK POINTS !! ITS THE CENTRAL PROCESSING SERVICE THATS SIGNIFICANT. cONTROLLERS CAN BE MANIPULATED TO ANY EXTENT WE WANT. BTW FUCK WII CONTROLLERS I HATE THEM.

OK IF ALL 16 PLAYERS IN A GAME PLAYED IN THE SAME WORLD PROCESSED BY THE SAME COMPUTER - ITS OBVIOUSLYS EXPONENTIALLY EASIER AS A WHOLE. the computer really just have do 2-3 computer worth of calcuations for like 10 players =/

  • NICE OPINION, but computers are hella fast these days.

    Onlive is a BETA company.

First of its kind, but its worth trying

later on, theres going to be some insane companies doing this central processing service.

  • OMG I so want to submit my first video response to this FUD... as soon as I make the time for it.

Also, wear a turtle-neck, it gives credibility even if not attention :-D

  • she has a wierd voice and nice tits. Voice+Tits+Intelligence=Perfect Fuck

  • @nikoshifter Yeah like the Voice to scream, the Tits to bounce and the intelligence to know when to switch position... :)) Oh god I'm such a sexist, but girls love it! Gives them something to argue about... which they love to do!

  • hey, good points. Just one thing i was thinking when you were talking about the wii: Sony and Microsoft also announced they would be releasing new devices for "Wii like" gameplay. For example, ps3 is releasing new motion controllers, and microsoft is releasing natal which is like eyetoy but better. Where does this leave onlive?

  • Seriously did anyone listen to what this young intelligent woman had to say? Or where you looking at here tits also?

  • Folding ? :D

In my country a guy made 27 GTX295 in 5 racks for folding.

  • just do something else and just listen to the audio, makes it alot easier :P

  • I think hackers and viruses are the biggest threat. Tricking the server to think it has a different paying customer and malware online are real issues. If the servers are only good at specific gaming tasks and compression, how can they fend off real online threats?

  • they maybe earn much on advertising. maybe there will be advertising on loading times

  • LIke i said the hardware/graphics companies from what I've heard are in on this "onlive" scheme. They are providing the hardware for the hubs. Most of your cons seem weak. PS3 and Xbox have already got there exclusives.

  • I like your thinking madam.

  • ?! Are smart, attractive girls common in canada? Hmm maybe I should move there.... Anyways, you definately have some good points. The things that derail this for me is that #1. Playing any game will be like playing WoW or some other MMO. All the disconnects, lag, etc because it still relies on YOUR ISP #2. Servers crash and they need routine maintenance. When these things happen you will have no access to all the games you paid for or the service itself. Its a cool concept but its not for me.

  • Yah! Im canadian too! $50 says you live in Toronto

  • I want my $50! I live in Ottawa.

  • @AshBradford I take both of your money and have a 100$ :D

  • i live in europe, where there are no limits on how much you download and my internet speed is 10 mb/s outside the country and 100 mb/s in the country. can i play any of the games when they will come here in 2013 or whenever?

  • I think you'll have to wait until they bring the service over to, or at least near, whatever country you live in. I'am sure the service will be really limited whenever it gets released.

  • i ll'd when you were talking about the graphical developers. . . ECONOMICS 101. What do you do when the guy next door is selling the same thing you're sellingbut its better and cheaper? YOU FUCKING MAKE ONE THAT'S BETTER THAN HIS. Also if this is bigger than ps3 and 360 combined x376X1000 then sony and microsoft wont try to keep making consoles.... they're gonna keep making games. . . and partner up with them. lets be real.

  • with the fall of monopoly came the rise of merging. . . and merging s only acceptable to an extent that its not stopping the competition but competing with it. which comes partnering. . which is basically for the short part. . sharing.

i think when you came up with making this. . you forgot to incorporate economics. . . its fine though. oh an i almost forgot. . What the hell do you think investors are for?! sitting and watching for free? HELLL NO!

  • You cant be serious! they got the money to account for beta dont worry about it. . if they got the money to develop new technology. . i think they can manage a beta launch of their game.. also do you even know how they are storing their information? if not dont say its going to cost them alot. they've obviously thought about it. . because how? (inexpensive alternative)

also nothing in the fine print says microsoft cant sell halo's name. . . and one more hting... copyrights expire. . economics

  • if you really want to be real. Then you should know sony and Microsoft are behemoth corporations that wont back down and lose to something like this. Yeah they are gonna back out and risk losing the potential billions that will be made in the video game industry. This is gonna be a bust that might never come to fruition. Just listen to the chick. She had some good points and tits

    no offense

  • hmmm...some valid points. but u do seem 2 hav given full judgment by d looks of it.anywys d pricing and d bandwidth usage are very real concerns but i wud like for this 2 succeed evn just 2 c thr brilliant video decoding algorithms and load balancing servers 2 work.wat evr d cons i love d concept.

  • I see it as, a computer gaming fix, and as 90% of ps3, 360, is ported onto pc, this is a good one stop gaming hub, not to mention is all universal

  • It will fail even if it suceeds it will fail

  • U FINE

  • These are vary valid reasons

  • para los que entiendan español,vaya pajilla cubana puede hacer esta tia,con esas tetas...madre mia....

  • omg nice boobs (sorry, had to). I was so anxious for OnLive but most of what you said makes sense...also, OnLive wastes alot more bandwidth and monthly bandwidth than XBOX Live or WoW. So that would increase costs there. You need better bandwith, and higher cap. That, plus the subscription, plus the games, plus no resalability. OMG what a bad deal!

  • I Like This Girl w/ The Cleavage She's Smart

  • i dont think that graphics companies are goning to be in a threat, because..like you said, they use it for other things. Like im use 3d animation tools, i need a tough graphics card for the stuff i render

  • maybe they will build support for the wiimote because you can connect it to your computer via bluetooth

  • Hello

    Im your newest Subscriber lol

xD your really kool, A tech Chick is always pretty kick-ass.

  • and rember the onlive supports ANY usb controller, so that means wii can be ported due to the fact that are already accelerometer controllers for the PC.

  • well i notices u state alot of "ifs"... but one think i agree is that there is a lot of problems with it... one reason why i prefer PC gaming is becuse of Modding and the supioror graphics... o yea if porting Halo to onlive would make Microsoft money, then belive me, they would. its sad that i spent $1,200 to build my Computer to play Crysis maxed... and this would, i theory make it usless..

  • first you have pretty eyes and, you know, you shouldn't wear this kind of clothes if you don't want us to keep ours eyes on your boobs

second, i totally agree with you, i mean the only thing cool that i saw about thins thing was Crysis being played on a Samsung i900 Omnia cellphone

  • oh yeah... but the crysis thing is OTOY, not OnLive

  • I am very impressed I can see both your Pro's very clearly and would like to explore them some more.

  • 99% of youre cons are what if's and things that you suspect they'll do,the cost are going to less in comparing the sony's or microsoft, the license is obvious because its a new system, you cant license something for a sytem that doesnt exist yet,the remote doesnt look good?the online thing is viceversa, i got one question do you work for microsoft?;)

  • I wish

  • microsoft is only good for computers 360 blows halo blows only think 360 has going for it are gears searies and multiplatform games ps3 has more going than that shit i own both wish nevr bought 360 and this onlive shit is goin to blow as i said in my past comment i agree wit o ilike to show my boobs grl < lol sry so yea onlive will not have exclusives at all that wat the word exclusive means it will only have multiplateform games o i know now the concle war had just begun

  • sure you wouldn't

  • your just mad cause u cant play it HAHA

  • Nooooo.... I have no interest in owning it. Even if you gave it to me for free, I still probably wouldn't play it.

  • You said u cant have LAN parties?

Thats why you get in party with friends and set it to just play with them with a 1ms ping.

    *similiar to xbox

sorry about like over 9000 comments, im commenting as i watch

  • u said junk about Mac and Wii

    Mac = Slow Suicide

    Wii = Gangrape

^sorry had to say it, it b true

and about Nvidia not liking it, where do u think OnLive gets there GPU's from? they didnt have time to make a beast GPU from scratch i dont think they were working on the connections

  • What about mac and Wii? I mentioned the mac, and Wii. Most of the Wiis games are motion control gimmicks and hence aren't threatened by onlive. What's you point?

  • it has been obvious for a while that gaming is going to be like this, even sony and stuff have talked about it.

making it without hard copies. just server based.

it sounds amazing and its inevitable, embrace the pwnage

and u talked about most bieng only available for PC, they played Crysis on a TV not PC, so ya

  • The last part of your comment doesn't even make sense. With the converter box you can play any onlive on either tv or PC. What I said was that most of the games they will be supplying are PC titles.

  • Most of the "Dissadvantages" you mentioned are not related to the technology itself but to the state of the current game industry and Onlives own pricing and retail system.

Eventually a streaming service like Onlive will get a foothold and change everything. Its just a matter of time.

Onlive/Gaikai/OTOY will come into there own when Photorealistic games are created. (Watch the OTOY tech demo's)

  • im sure that (omg duh) the "live" subscriptions will cost about $10-$30 because it never costs more than the actual console or thing so since onlive will be less den $100 it should b cheap so dont worry!

  • wow an attractive gamer girl!! what is your gamertag? mine is SoFly415 i think my friends list is full, but i'll make room for you!! ;-)

  • you talked about graphics cards manafactures but nvidia already has a deal with on live because the servers actually need graphic cards.

  • With the cloud being touted as the direction where computing is going onlive i think would have a degree of success, but it may not really take off because of exactly what you said...However if game developers decided to make games that NEEDED the processing power of the cloud,eg.which are better looking than pc/console,and are therefore exclusive to onlive then it could be big.Otherwise good points.

  • OnLive already have publishing partners. Sony, and Microsoft don't RULE gaming. They have to buy from exculsives from developers and publishers.

Also, Although your computer may be able to run anything that is out at the moment. In the future, you will need to upgrade, which costs money.

  • I upgraded last year because my computer couldn't play the programs I wanted, even though it could still handle the games I was playing. If people think that the removal of gaming from a computer will stop them from having to upgrade, they're insane.

  • Im a bit sceptic about they solving multiplayer lag issue, but I think its probably gono be a great way to reach a bigger audience with graphical intensive single player games no matter what. Maybe its going to be reduced to a Mac and netbook game console for single player games.

  • I seen both videos and it has done it's job. I was really stoke about onlive and now i need really see how it turns out. I suggest that you listen to this video than watch it because it is hard to concentrate with a very beautiful woman.

  • Interesting points regarding this newfound thing; I just ran across this news today! It'll be a wait and see thing but I did sign up for the beta just to see how it plays out.

For now I see myself sticking with my 360! Thanks for the video!

  • if u do the research onlive is gonna be sold at an estimated(50.00$)US-AND COST THE SAME AS A 360 LIVE SUSCRIPTION per year.....ya cant beat that no matter what flaws u find, onlive is gonna change the game.....no punn....and I LOVE YOU;;;;;LOL!!!!!!MARRY ME......

  • Well the WOW example is probably a bad one for the advantages of a own copy. Because if the Blizzard WOW servers are down you won't be able to play WOW too. But anyway, you made some very good conclusions I did't think of.

    BTW: You are a beauty.

  • I JUST LOVED THE IDEA OF ONLIVE.....COZ i'm a mac user and I look at pc as games and 3D software editing only other than that no more.....I LOVE every mac osx offers i'm an artist at the same time hardcore gamer...This idea will make mac push to a more all around computer and the only computer you'll ever have...IT'S ABOUT TIME!

  • you are a tard. please read your posts and think about what you say before posting.

  • Com'on....your topic is OnLive...it's all about computer gaming..

  • yes, but games aren't the only reason the people use PC. so don't act like a zealot.

  • I enjoy PCs because they are amazingly functional compared to macs. PCs also work with... well everything. I honestly can't say that macs work with the majority or the programs of peripherals that I use. Games aren't the only reason people use PCs. I never computer gamed much before this year (I prefer consoles).

  • You missed the one big one on my list. With this Onlive, modding games will be completly unexistant and I know that doesn't bother a lot of people but there are some amazing mods out there and it would be a shame if people didn't get to play them.

  • The creators of onlive have wishful thinking, can't blame them for trying you know?

  • The problem with getting the license to OnLive is not going to be a problem mostly because the company they're getting the games from will get half of the credit for sales. At least that's what I heard. It's not really another console it's just 'Games on-demand' as some ceo put it.

  • this service does not interest me at all. I have a Xbox 360 and I'm happy with it.

  • Two words: Multi Billion....
