  • i likey the music it adds character to the vid and the taxidermist proffesion!!.

  • magnificent job,wow!!

  • Ow my head.

  • I love taxidermy and yours is so handsome when I look at it!

  • Taxidermy is a skilled profession. Trapping is as well.. Hunting and trapping are not sins .. Stop being ignorant. Just because you do not hunt, fish or trap does not mean it is wrong. You who live in the city would not be able to live in the city if it were not for the farmers, hunters, fishermen, etc. Get Real. You are showing true ignorance when you attack those who care more about and do more for the forests and its animals in one month than you will ever in your life..

  • how do you keep the pads on?

  • These comments are funny, Nice work!!! Could you direct someone who wants to try this to a how to guide?

  • Taxidermy is completely okay. As long as the animal was not killed, but was found dead and died of natural causes it's fine. Egyptians used to preserve their relatives and a lot of people have taxidermy and preserved creatures. It's very beautiful, actually. It preserves not only the animal, but their beauty for eternity.

  • @ForeverChristicide finally some wisdom

  • Nice fox!

  • Hi - Enjoyed the video ! Any tips regarding caring of of taxidermy piece ? I live in an area that

goes from high to low humidity .

    Thanks for your time !

  • My goodness that is a big saw... O.O

  • damn i really think u do very good work

  • This fox turned out stunning. I am researching taxidermy because I want to start it myself. Your video will be a lot of use for me.

  • it may seem like extra work cutting apart the form but she's SURE to get the same ear leg and head alignment, good going

  • were do u get the foam bodies from? b/c i like to do this kind of stuff cant find any place i can get the foam from plz tell me

  • @faehellblade you can get them at taxidermy supply stores. I'm just starting, but when I get an animal like a deer, boar, or other game animal, I'll be buying mine from either of these.: vandykestaxidermy.co m or mckenziesp.co m. there are a few others, but these are the mounts most commonly sold (at least, as far as I've seen). You can also make your own, but I'm not sure how to.

  • @faehellblade

You can get them at either mckenziesp . com OR vandykestadermy . com

You can also make your own, but I only know how to make them from clay.

  • Wow! You made him look very handsome!

  • that was awsome, i wish you all the best in what u do because that was a great job .. ATB..........

  • ohmygosh you did such a wonderful job! :D

  • how much would you charge for something like this on a coyote?

  • Fox doing a Fox. lol Really nice work.

  • I'm not a huge fan of taxidermy, but that was just fantastic! Love the music choice, too... Beethoven always makes me think of "A Clockwork Orange" - but in a good way.

Thumbs up if April's Army sent you here :)

  • what coat was on the fox was that its winter or summer coat?

  • Beautifully done, I envy your skill :)

  • looks good!

  • time lapses are epic wins

  • love how natural it looks.

  • hello.. i hunt foxes and was thinking of trying to stuff one myself... i just want to know do i have to get some special stuff to preserve the skin or can i just dry it out somehow..... somebody told me to dry the skin with an iron.. but that sounds kind of strange. Any advice on preparing the skin for stuffing would be appreciated thanks.

  • That's an atractive animal... Both of them :) Good video.

  • When I grow up, It is my dream to become a taxidermist. Thanks for showing me your amazing work.

  • wow, at first I was having trouble finding useful videos about taxidermy, but this was actually VERY helpful, even it being sped up, I could take some pointers, but I have a question, was that the single needle baseball stitch you used, and if so do you find it easier or more convenient than the double?

  • Beautiful piece! The fox is adorable, please post more videos of your work :)

  • I think I'm in love!! She is pretty and does taxidermy.

  • Two people don't know how to use the like button.

Beautiful work, this is an inspiration! :3

  • It looks simply gorgeous!

  • Awwwwwe D: poor animal

  • Cute ^^

  • That is AMAZING! Great job!

  • Beautiful work!!

  • Wow this is one of the rare occasions I see eyes and lips look normal on a taxidermy piece.

    You are really good!

  • Great job!

  • Marvelous work. I picked up some tips while watching this. Keep up the good work!

  • Nice :)

  • That's beautiful <3

How did you train to become one?

  • you do great work. The face looks natural and life like keep up the great work.

  • @TheGrinchfox

    lol

  • @TheGrinchfox Learn to type proper english retard..Great job Taxi lady!!

  • @TheGrinchfox WTF no it's not

  • @TheGrinchfox Learn to spell lol

  • @TheGrinchfox its not evil. its only evil when the fox has been purpously hunted and killed. if it should die of natrual causes such as old age then it is fine. if this young woman has killed the fox herself (which i highly doubt) it is then evil. agreed?

  • @RenRejektid But then why we dont taxidermating old of incidently died peoples? Why they need to have rest after death? Their skin can looks cool on my shoes >:3. Or You gonna say that is awful to do and they have rights to be buried? Then why animals do NOT ?

  • @TheGrinchfox Learn proper English before you post hateful comments.

  • @RenRejektid Hunting foxes isn't evil. They're overpopulated, and a neusiance

  • Taxidermy is beautiful lets do your grandma next! TheGrinchfox

  • @TheGrinchfox i know what you mean

  • that how it looks like when a fox is skinned like the head with out the skin and body fur and that stuff well it isnt to evil to do that if it was dead but if it was killed and then mounted all i can say is that your evil and gross

  • @TheGrinchfox how????????????????

  • Wow, u looked like a total pro at this! Good job and very well done. I've always been fascinated with taxidermy but never has the guts or the opportunity to get into it.. haha =]

  • i could never do this job, even if i was forced to. its so hard for me to look at a dead animal without crying or feeling bad for the little guy

  • VERY well done, beautiful.

  • Awesome- and you're wearing an Alex Grey tshirt. I'm a total novice when it comes to this, and I'm hoping to secure a foxes head to a human body sculptural form. This video is a great help, thank you.

  • can i ask, once you have the skin in the form, how long do you leave it to dry out or is it dry?

  • @foxy358

depends on what you tan it with and the weather/humidity. this guy took about a week. the skin shrinks so you have to watch how it dries, especially on the face

  • Do you not need to tan the skin before you mount it?

  • @somuchluv89

    the skin has been tanned

  • @parliamentrook oh okay

  • @somuchluv89 No you do not c: you can just salt or dry it

  • Loved that video. Both educating and funny. Your finished fox just look great.

  • What's the main material that you work on as a puppet to stretch fox skin ?

  • @CcenkK

I think you mean the foam form? they're available from many taxidermy supply companies

  • @parliamentrook

What is the name of the foam?

  • @parliamentrook

What is the name of the foam?

  • Gyönyörü!!

  • This is really facinating- it gives me a real idea of the kind of art and hard work that goes into these taxidermy mounts.

  • Wow, this is a beautiful mount! Well done! You look exhausted though! XD

  • Man you are fast. Love the video and the white socks.

  • Absolutely beautiful mount, there were a few moments during the video that I thought what on earth you were doing lol! But it turned out great!
