Skyrim story mode sucked, the dragons were cool and all, but after alduins death, no point in leveling up.... Dragon age in other perspective is a far better story ...
I dont think dragon age 2 was bad. It might have had less .. eniverment but it was more realistic more... dramatic. It had you grow attached to Bethany and then take her away.. It had you see your own mothers death and it felt like your true mother was in your hands saying "Im so proud of you" but with DAO there was no deaths it was plain..
Fuck Origins was amazing! God, I love this game so much, the characters, the story, the game-play, the soundtrack, everything! I'm still playing it now, despite the fact that own BF3, MW3 and Batman: AC. I wish it's sequel had lived up to it's expectations, it's such a pity..
I loved DA2! The characters moved more fluidly and each had their own paths of life which mingled with the main character. It wasn't just about Hawke which gave it depth. The hair moved, and Hawke has facial expressions. Not to mention the ability to choose attitude with the conversation choices rocks but...I love this song.

The game (DA2) was originally a brand new game, however it was scrapped due to the weak gameplay and story. Of course, this didn't sit well with their accountants and would mean they "wasted" time. So the game was revamped and turned into DA2.
IF you don't believe me, think about why there was no mod tools, incredibly dumbed down game play, a new game engine, and somethings just didn't feel like "Dragon age"

I know skyrim will keep you busy for more hours than dragon age, but never say that the story is better, becus that's complete bullshit. The Archdemon is the leader of the darkspawn, and the one responsible for the blights. I don't know if you skip the cinematics in the game, but everything's very well explained in there.

We know Alduin but we don't know a shit about the Archdemon. The Winterhold quest is 10x > than Dragon Age's main quest. I don't know if you just tag on with the main quest without proving yourself... but once you passed Alduin's Bane and your level's 50... 4 Ancient Dragons will swarm you at ONCE. Dragon Age? Only one.

Great moment of the game. Guess you need to play it to really feel the song. Pity that after Electronic Craps took care of Bioware we will not see again pieces of art like this game.
Moments like this are what made Dragon Age an instant classic and one of the greatest entries to RPGs. I love spending time in the camp, getting to know my allies, hooking up, banging ladies and a sometimes guys.

this is why I love Bioware, you actually feel like youy're the character, emotions build to these different characters, you feel regret for something, you may actually feel like you care for some of the characters, and you get so emotinally involved with these characters that you feel like it's not a game, but a new world that you are apart of.
That's what is missing from Dragon Age 2, epicness. In the first one everyone is dying and you are trying to make people stand on their feet, through words, through songs, everything to keep hope alive in a land where everything is almost lost.
@domojw5 you can get her to sing the song after the completion of "Nature of the beast" as long as you dont side with werewolves. She will sing regardless of approval rating.

@Beriorn No this is not a big lipped Alligator moment . For something to be a Big lipped Alligator moment it has to have no meaning or baring to the story. And this song has a lot of meaning and has a lot of relation to the plot. The song She is singing is about dealing with the pain of losing a love to death. And death plays a big role in the Gray warden story. And if you play as a elf she showing you the compassion she has for the Elven people.
There are few scenes in games that move me as much as this one does. Bioware wins again with this game, but it was scenes like this touching moment that win it for me.
This was quite possibly the most awkward moment I've ever experience playing a game. She started talking about a song, and I was like, "Great, good thing you're really not going to sing it." And then she did. I had one of those moments where you feel super embarrassed for someone else because they're being a complete fool without knowing it. That song just did NOT belong there, at that time, in that way. And for the first time playing I actually completely agreed with Morrigan on something.
I love this game kept me gripped for days, almost at the final battle now :) Definetly deserves another playthrough just for story and the brilliant characters. Im a sucker for a good fantasy
@cryptospot After you finish the Dalish Elves mission (either way, kill the Keeper or the Lady of the Forest) go back to the camp and then speak to her and answer kindly. I really dunno if having high respect level with her is important or not. :)

@TheUltron Yes, I decided to side with the wolves in both ways: I sided with them one time having Coercion 4th level + Cunning 22 and persuaded them to attack the Dalish Camp and the other time had Zatrhian dispel the curse. In reason of the final battle, expecially if you're playing hard or nightmare difficulty, I would suggest to kill all elves in order to get the mighty werewolves as army uni

Dragon Age: Origins has a score of 9.5 out of 10 from gamespot, and trust me, skyrim isn't better, that's your opinion. Though i like DA:O much more, because it has an epic story. I never said that skyrim is bad, but don't enrage people by saying it outmatches DA:O, because that's bullshit

And Skyrim's characters are not focused because like I said, it'll be a total waste if the next Elder Scroll will be written hundreds of years from Skyrim's event. But, Skyrim focuses deeply in Alduin, which they hint of his return after his apparent death in Sovngarde. But what about the Archdemon? Who is he?

continued: DAO: What is the origins of it? Where is the story of the origins? All I see, is more like the beginning... not genesis. Title error. At least, Elder Scroll V Skyrim got a right title. The name of the series is Dragon Age... but, how many dragons you have to fight in the main quest and please, don't be an ass in this one... ONLY ONE. So, you just put a hideous weak dragon, then you'll have dragon age? Yet again, "Dragon Age outmatches Skyrim, right?" lol.

@scareMEneverLOL After you complete the Brecilian Forest quest (no matter how), just go back to the camp and talk to Leliana. CHOOSE THE FIRST ANSWER! That will trigger the song. Hope I helped :)

@Beriorn No this is not a big lipped Alligator moment . For something to be a Big lipped Alligator moment it has to have no meaning or baring to the story. And this song has a lot of meaning and has a lot of relation to the plot. The song She is singing is about dealing with the pain of losing a love to death. And death plays a big role in the Gray warden story. And if you play as a elf she showing you the compassion she has for the Elven people.

This was quite possibly the most awkward moment I've ever experience playing a game. She started talking about a song, and I was like, "Great, good thing you're really not going to sing it." And then she did. I had one of those moments where you feel super embarrassed for someone else because they're being a complete fool without knowing it. That song just did NOT belong there, at that time, in that way. And for the first time playing I actually completely agreed with Morrigan on something.

@cryptospot After you finish the Dalish Elves mission (either way, kill the Keeper or the Lady of the Forest) go back to the camp and then speak to her and answer kindly. I really dunno if having high respect level with her is important or not. :)

@TheUltron Yes, I decided to side with the wolves in both ways: I sided with them one time having Coercion 4th level + Cunning 22 and persuaded them to attack the Dalish Camp and the other time had Zatrhian dispel the curse. In reason of the final battle, expecially if you're playing hard or nightmare difficulty, I would suggest to kill all elves in order to get the mighty werewolves as army uni
