  • one of the more engaging morse ditties....if he had been/ would be more prog and less fusion...i'd put him up there with king crimson and yes but....the most he ever entertained me was when he was 15 years old and his band covered led zep II start to finish...shred and fusion are dead end streets.

  • Kicked my ass then, kicks my ass now. Dregs rule!

  • @randallcaster fuck yea dude!!! dregs are the shit!

  • The main theme reminds me of something Al Di Meola would write.

  • Awesome drumming, especially the intro!

  • NIGHT OF THE LIVING DREG WAS ONE OF THE BEST LIVE ALBUMS EVER! IF THERE WERE EVER A BAND THAT CROSSED ALL GENRES OF MUSIC, IT WAS THE DREGS! GREAT MUSIC BY AWESOME MUSICIANS!

  • Love instrumentals...always loved the Dixie Dregs-Dregs-Steve Morse.

  • yknow how van gogh died broke never garnering the acclaim due

until years afterwards? and now he's world renowned?

i wonder if that's how it's gonna be for the dregs' stuff a hundred years from now?

prolly not i know but man their stuff sure was/is good

  • One of the best Dregs tunes, for sure. This one is best if you crank it UP!

  • hows that drumming in the begging even possible it would take a couple africans or a drum circle to play something like that good stuff

  • It is quite the showcase for Mr. Morgenstein, shreder1500. I've always respected Rod's skills from the beginning, because of the particular demands the band placed on his versatility -- they genre-hop like crazy between rock, jazz, country and prog. Excellent.

  • Could you post The Great Spectacular from Dregs of the Earth

  • can you please post "I'm Freaking Out."

  • Where were these guys in the 70s and 80s in England ? Nowhere ( or was that me :) - this is great stuff - thank you OriginalDimer - I feel an imminent purchase coming ...

  • the melody is so kickass...tritones everywhere but they work so well..

  • Last time I checked for this song on youtube it wasn't here, I love this song, been ages since I heard!

  • Let me know if you'd like to hear more. I have all albums except for "Unsong Heroes" on disc. Never found that one.

  • @originalDimer I have that disc, got it overseas

  • Great tune! I love the dregs.
