@guitarsnowmobiler no ETOPS stands for Extended Range Twin Engine Operations it's a certification aircraft like the Boeing 767 have to fly certatin routes that go extended distances from airports suitable for them to make a landing. All twin engine aircraft must have this ceritication in order to fly trans-atlantic sectors
plane with no TVs in the headrest ...what are PTVs ? dose that mean personal televisons well i got news for USAirways they need a upgrade the size of that plane the people are going to have to break thier necks to see the safety video also planes like that go long distance .. so being on that flight for more than hour like3 or 4 hour flights with no PTVs then we got problem...unless they trying to be like southwest the reason they have not TVs is to keep price of the ticket for the customer low
where are the PTVs? you know i flew this airline once from philly to gatwick london. and i'll never fly them again. one meal on a 8 hour flight. service was horrible. seating was unbearable. it was a cheap flight but i rather pay the extra money for better service.
Never fly USAir Problems not-weather-related forced an unscheduled stop in Denver 12 and ½ hours inside this airplane !! USAir 845 bos 12/21/08 forced every connecting passenger to miss connecting flights in Las Vegas No one offered help No one offered accommodations No one would explain how to get to their destination It was criminal neglect It is clear by the abuse and deliberate neglect, USAir wants paying customers, who miss a connection to fade into the dust and die Never fly USAir
Hey i was on a US flight from PHL to MUC with a 762 and i was sitting in B zone and on the center divider they had a pretty large monitor.....just wondering if you know why this one may be different...
Is there a crew rest on the 767? I know that some airlines have relief crews that fly the middle of the flight while the the first set of crew is sleeping.
i heard they will install PTV's in economy! when is that going to be? i'll fly on a us airways 767 in october! Does anyone know if the 767's are updated by then?
no ptv's will be installed on the 767's in economy. they will install 50 inch plasma screens in place of the old flip over screens. they will install a new ife system called teac which is what we have on the etops 757's . thhe business class will get these individual dvr's that are touchscreen . they are actually kinda cool. the reason for no avod is because the 767's will eventually be retired.
gotta love the B767 interior, my favorite plane of all, with the 2-3-2 layout, only that middle seat is the worst one to be on, all other seats are great.
hey freak the next time you post a vid please record a shot of your crazy face! i am sure us airway would just love to know who you are and what you are doing!!
well that is interesting! you have been watching my GAY vids! well fat head, i must say it is shocking to find out about yet another flight att. in the closet! good luck with that! keep smiling ugly fat head!
thanks so much! Is First/Biz class going to stay the same or is it also getting updated? How many F/As operate those? I think I saw 8 jump seats but i'm not sure. The coach section looks really good, wouldn't mind doing a Trans Atlantic flight in that!
first /biz will be updated to flatbed seats for next summer. not this summer. and yes there are 8 jumpseats onboard but we only staff the 767 to europe with six and 5 on domestic.
hey i have a question do you know if flights from phili to europe have the leather blue seats because they are sweet! so you work in charlotte awesome! im like an hour from there!
No PTVs?

Is there the personal video screen on the 767-200 economy class cabin now?

Those First Class seats don't look like Trans-Atlantic material. Does that plane fly those routes?

This comment has received too many negative votes show
wow i hate the 767's with a akward passion.
i myself am not a big fan of boeing airfract.
i like airbus better.
and then this us airways 767-200 looks suicidle for transatlantic-continental flights.
i'd say, pay one more dime and go with Northwest/Delta!
or even virgin america if its within the united states.
..or even virgin atlantic for international flights to london.
..but stay with delta/northwest if you want a solid flight.

This cabin is pretty sucky compared to Continental Airlines 767 cabin. Especially when you consider this plane was "refurbished".

Im not an F/A but im pretty sure that the crew rest for the 767 is the last few rows of coach which can be curtained off.
