You have touched on two criteria half way. Clean punches, effective aggresiveness, ring generalship, and defense are the 4 criteria for judging a fight. Bernard performed all 4 criteria like a profesional athlete he is. Joe performed half of one criteria and lost one point for being knocked down.

I respect Kelly as a boxer, but he's not in Joe's league. Joe would have a much tougher time against Roy Jones and/or Lucien Bute. Joe is the best in world, and one of the best in history. Credit to Roy Jones for showing Joe respect. Jones is a true champion, and a great boxer who show's respect for another great boxer.
