you sir, are an idiot, natural born. what, because i painted it, put on stainless mirrors and a different grille you think it's no longer an m1009.?. theres a hell of alot of other trick parts on the truck that aren't military issue either, but it's a cucv m1009. take another look pal, and never dissrespect a former desert strom truck again!
do your homework before posting an incorrect statement. THIS TRUCK IS A M1009. one of the fenders was destroyed, so i replaced it with a civillian fender, hence the emblem.
lol, it's a stock J-code 6.2, but i turned up the injection pump. It definately lacks in the r.p.m./wheelspin dept., but the torque will churn up just about anything. I'm gonna turbo it and see what happens....
