When i had only just turned fourteen and most of my friends were still thirteen we started drinking smoking, stealing and getting high. we started getting peircings and sex was in my life more. Its really not unrealistic at all. And plus, my parents are kind of strict. I'm really not 'proud' of any of it, but thats just the way things are. idk if its just my town or my particullar class, but almost everybody i know my age is doing this stuff.

The scene at 1:27 is a flashback of tracey's to seeing her mum's boyfriend off his face and the situation scared the living crap out of her. So she equates her mum's boyfried with this experience of him on drugs and about to lose it.

An Incredible movie. I know many people who dont really get the core of the story. But, It shows the issues. When I watched it, I couldnt stop thinking about the story and what it meant. Tracy is so desperate to fit in, to have some sort of control over her life. At first, she pushed through her family troubles and just try's to be a good kid. Then the need to be happy and be popular, to have attention slips in and takes everything too far.

It's such a good movie. With such an deep story.
