Basically, very bad choice of spots to test your card. Maxed out, almost on every map except when flying or Metro Map, it stutters like crazy. It's not playable at all.

@MageDb0w No, don't buy a GTX 460. It is a good card, and i have one myself.. BUT, it might end up costing you more in the long run.

If you want to be on the safe side then get a 560 ti, that would last a lot longer than a 460 and isn't much more expensive

@AdamYoung96 oh really? maybe its the 965. i wouldnt think they are different cpus. just one is clocked faster. check out the 955s and see what you think. either way i really like them. the stock cooler is loud, but it does the job.

@AdamYoung96 first, my pc is weird so you may or may not get the same performance. i have a radeon 5770 overclocked to the max. and it ran the bf3 beta at 50 fps outside and about 80+ in the tunnels. and on bc2, i get 50fps+ everywhere. this is all on max settings btw. PC: Phenom ii x4 955 @3.6ghz, 6gb ddr2 ram, radeon 5770 OC 960mhz, 600w psu. 1680x1050 resolution.

@eliasblom99 Recommended minimum specs for this game are a GTX 460, 4GB of RAM, and a dual core processor. I would suggest getting a GTX 500 series card to future-proof your machine. Ex. GTX 560 Ti. I don't suggest the GTX 550 because it's a lower range card.

Okay everyone, please give me some advice here since I'm having a bit of an argument with myself. I want a system that's future proofed and that I can play all newer games on full settings. Current rig: GTX 460 1gb, 16gigs DDR3 RAM @1600mhz, Quad Core Athlon II @ 3.4GHz (overclocked). NOW FOR THE QUESTION. Sell my GPU and go for a GTX 560 maybe SLi with it later OR just go SLi with another GTX 460(cheaper). I want as many opinions on this as I possbly can. Thanks guys, catch y'all later.

All on high

AA is off

1680 x 1050 resolution

Antistropic filtering is set to 16x

No SSAO or HBBAO (Makes the lighting look slightly better but rapes your frame rate)

On metro i get 40-50 fps in the part and urban are while in the metro tunels i get 60-75 fps. My fps only drops to 20-30 when those jets blow up a hole into the metro tunels which.
