carnt you just take the old one out then install the new one into the laptop then add the old one isput in the external Hardrive then feed it over to the new one please help
Recently bought a used Toshiba laptop. A friend had to order new Windows Vista Home Premuim discs since I didnt get them and the computer was having problems. He fixed it and everything looked alright. Two days later, I am now getting a notice that there is a hard disk problem, and that I need to backup my files. I believe I have backed up the files successfully, but now how do I repair the hard disk?
my mom bought me a WD 500 gb external hard drive for christmas a while ago. i took the casing apart and looked at my laptops 160 HDD and it was the same class and voltage. SO i am happy i didnt have to spend any extra money. I can now use my old laptop HDD as an external. w00T!
Thanks for this vid which may have saved me the cost of a new PC. The one I have is fine, but only had 40gb hard drive, which is now down to 3gb. Was considering buying a new one, but I LOVE this one. Now I can get a friend to change the HD for me and keep my trusty steed!
Lol no It Would HAve To be For a MAc Book PRo Or What Ever You have But Like he said Search What ever You Computer is And Type- " MAC Book Pro 500 gb Hard drive" like that and ones that will fit and work with it should pop upo
thanks Pal :D

This How To is made by CNET.com which is owned by CBS Interactive. I'm pretty sure the have copyrights for it. So they are not verry happy for this
