  • @williambeepbeep I am thinking you could add egg replacer to the soy milk if you want a custard like texture.

  • Yummy!

  • awesome! Thanks for this!

  • how do you make you children eat fake foods ? like fake milk the reason why god made a cow was so you could have milk meets cheese and leather .My sister is a vegsitarian and i truthfully dont no how people can live this life style, open your eyes and join the world

  • @JBloverforever94 Lol. Open *your* eyes look into the reasons people are vegan and vegetarian. Lest you continue to make inane comments and sound like a total fool.

  • @shumila LOL well when the world started there was one way to survive eating meat and vebables god made that i no there are vegiatrains and i understand that but not to eat milk cheese and such is just not right sorry i am sure manny would agree.

  • @JBloverforever94 I don't think god intended you to drink the milk of other animals. Does any other creature go to a mother of another specie and drink milk from it? Would you put your mouth to the teat of a cow and suckle it? Not to mention that humans are the only creatures who continue to drink milk after growing out of childhood. We humans need to remind ourselves how to be natural again. Mirror your diet to what a chimp would eat, and you would probably be eating right.

  • @shumila But we humans are not animals we are "People".So if an animal was drinking another animals milk it would be wrong becasue they are both animals .If a human is drinking milk from a cow and goat it is different. And we need milk to be healthy ,or our bones wont grow right and strong idk that is what i was told when i was young.I am not saying to drink 10 glasses a day ,but not to drink it at all is not right.

  • @JBloverforever94 Though you may not like to believe it, "people" are animals too. And what we were taught as children is not always correct. It is fact that those countries where people do not drink dairy have the lowest cases of osteoporosis and rheumatoid arthritis. Countries like Denmark and USA drink the most dairy and have the highest cases. Drinking milk is in fact harmful if you want strong bones. Google: "Dangers Of Milk And Dairy Products" for more info.

  • @JBloverforever94 Oh and I have been vegan for years and have excellent bone density. Milk and eggs acidify your blood and cause your bones to dissolve and you end up excreting them. Good sources of plant based calcium are dark leafy greens like okra and spinach (the calcium in milk comes from grass), almonds, and tofu. If you ever get the chance look up "The China Study". The book will change how you take care of your body.

  • @JBloverforever94 With all due respect, you need to educate yourself a bit more before making such definitive statements. Humans are the only animal on the planet which continues to consume dairy after being weaned. As a vegan I am often asked by concerned people how I get protein and calcium without eating meat and dairy. I simply tell them that I get my protein and calcium from the same source as an elephant...no larger muscles or skeleton walking on the planet!

  • @JBloverforever94 o.O what're you talking about? Have you EVER taken a nutrition course? Or even a history course? Or anthropology course? In the begining people were foragers and we ate whatever we could find. We didn't eat much meat until later on.

  • no attempt to make a custard replacement?

  • this recipe looks awful. its the only one they have made so far that just gives me the creeps. go watch the crumb cake and the chocolate cookies. those seem much better

  • @0KellyAnne0 I have no idea how a recipe video can give you the "creeps".

  • Comment removed

  • I'd rather bake a really chocolatey fudge cake. Let it dry and use fresh eggs and add dried fruit (figs, dates!) to make the pudding. Finish off with a little hot, sweet, thick rum sauce. Mmm, I hope something eats me when I die!

  • Baguettes usually contain egg, don't they? Wouldn't that make it non-vegan?

  • No, baguettes shouldn't contain egg and if you do find a recipe of a baguette containing egg then it shouldn't be called a baguette. I'm pretty sure she wouldn't be ignorant enough to use a bread containing egg, anyway.

  • @JuryDutySummons Most of the baguettes I have come across don't contain eggs. Just read the ingredients carefully.

  • @shumila Fair enough.

  • I like bread pudding that is sort of crispy in places. So I don't let it all soak in too long.

  • sounds delish! will head to your site now for the recipe :)

  • how about the french bread she used?,..is it vegan also?

  • yum!!!!

  • Thanks for posting this video. I will figure out the amounts of the ingredients but other people may need to know how much of what you use.

  • i dont care what anyone says you all should be ashamed she goes onto youtube gives up some of her own time to help people like me who dont know how to make stuff like this and you say that her recipies are "muck" was it?

i realy hate people like you!!!!

  • Eeek, lack of self-esteem ey? Try to get it up in some other productive way :P

  • She's using white bread. It would taste better with whole grain bread wouldn't it ?

  • What kind of whipped cream was that at the end of the video?

  • soy whipped cream

  • I also noticed the lack of actual measurements.

  • The recipe is on the everyday dish website (everydaydish(dot)tv)

  • This recipe looks great....is there anyway to get actual measurements for the ingredients?

  • Yes. The entire recipe can be printed off the everyday dish website (everydaydish(dot)tv)

  • Can you use almond milk?

  • my friends step dad makes the bes breadpudding i ever tasted and it taste so good when its cold better than straight from the oven so moist and scrumptious thx for de lesson ill try it

  • ok, did she just put whipped cream on that?!

  • It was vegan whipped cream (Soyatoo).

  • Nah, just imitation shaving foam for vegans. Which tastes nothing like whipped cream.

  • well that doesn't sound good. I believe I should make my own whipped cream then. I'm new to veganism so I haven't tried ALL the dairy-free things just yet! Thanks for letting me know!

  • Vegan food is best when it doesn't try to be meat/dairy etc IMHO. It's best when it does its own thing.

  • Mamacitaaa!!!!!

  • I thought Nazis and white supremacists referred to themselves as the 'master race' Now vegans?? Has someone left me out of the loop here?? Now I feel excluded.

  • BobMonkfish, your very very wrong.

  • Bob, you can't generalize and stereotype people, especially when your support your own hypothesis as the only right way, talk about self-righteous... just appreciate that there are people in this world that are different than you and leave it at that.

  • Bob, listen to yourself, please.

  • Hey, shut up murderer

    LOL

  • Aww Bob, did some hot vegan girl break your heart? Go write bad poetry about it instead of trashing great recipes.

  • lol You can say that about any food that wasn't cooked well smart one.

  • LOOK AT THE SMILE .... more than bread pudn goin on there !!!

  • Excellent recipe!!! You are a godsend! :D

  • Nothing short of awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • yummy make me some

  • looks yummy

  • marry me!

  • Lovely, just wish you said "soy milk" instead of "milk", seeing as it is vegan and all :D

Yummm, off to make vegan rice pudding. Warm and fuzzy

  • Well yes. It's actually more like shaving foam than cow juice.

  • It's Soyatoo -vegan whipped cream in a can.

  • is whipping cream vegan friendly??I saw you adding it at the end..

  • Try going out for food network!
