Thats because at the start of Ep1 The voritgon interrupted the G Man in his stasis world. He wasn't able to appear again until when the voritgon are healing Alyx later on.

@bmxismylife123 For these videos, yes I did but then I used FRAPS to record the recorded if that makes sense. It's to reduce lag etc but the only drawback is sometimes Source Recorded gets things wrong.

For example I show a crossbow bolt at a Combine and he was lodged against the wall but on playback he just bounced and fell on the floor.

i use hypercamera 2 and i prush record sound, then i film. then it's ready i look it and i dont hear voice.

Well to be honest I've never used Hypercam because FRAPS is more sleak and does its job. My guess is you need to set the sound recording driver to "What U Hear" and if you don't have that like mine doesn't then I don't know. I had this problem with my new PC but the newest Fraps actually installed a sound driver called "Vista" and it worked. Made me very happy because I bought this PC for the sake of recording.
