  • I drove a brand new chevrolet hire car a while back........to be honest I'd rather have a ten year old bmw 3 series.

  • He is clueless.. I work in the automotive sector. It was NOT the managers that caused the collapse. It was the UNIONS who forced companies to pay $65/hour (including benefits) to a person who screws a simple part into a vehicle. It is the UNION that caused the collapse. Moore is completely wrong!

  • @IslamISsick1

I think everyone realized that. But no media has the gut to speak it out loud!

  • @IslamISsick1 I think you'll find it was because they were making shitty cars?

  • @IslamISsick1 Unions protect workers and make sure they are paid fairly for their work. Don't blame the unions. If the person screws up the part then fire them!! Sheesh how hard is that to do. If the executives are allowing 'shitty' vehicles to come off their assembly line then they need to be fired too! These are not difficult concepts. If someone does a bad job of making the car and managing the workers then you fire them and get new people who do. Moore is absolutely right on this!

  • It's stupid how he complains how horrible capitalism and caused us to fall into a recession. The United States actually went into a recession because all of it's socialistic ways. He says he hated people that are corrupt so why does he expect us having more government control will be good. We will just end up with more corruption. With how much taxes he wants to take no one will ever want to start a business.

Ps. People actually still do want bigger cars. I live in Michigan most peo

  • @hannahkaybanana Please explain how the U.S. went into a recession because of socialism?? It was corruption and exploitation of the capitalist system by business and individuals and politicians and the government looking the other way that caused the U.S. to go into recession!! Get a clue. YOu are nothing but a mouthpiece for the wealthy. Hear this: Wealthy and elite people do not care about you! They don't want you in their class! They don't want you to achieve the American Dream!

  • Sheeps never understand who is who!! The Goverment has to get hold of these companies!! Oh wow that is his Solution!! The People, that means the Not Corrupted judges and Courts should put these people in GAIL, and divide what they own back to the poor, and American people. Goverment!? If ziegiest didnt work communisem will right !!?

  • Dammit I cant stop farting!

  • It is clearly obvious that American Automakers have ignored popular demand and did there best to use modern marketing techniques to promote gas guzzling cars because of their relationship (cartel) with big oil.

The free market is supposed to be free of cartels but at the same time it is in the natural interest of capitalists to form cartels and any policing body that prevents the formation of these cartels 1could never be effective 2 again would make it not an entirely free market.

  • oh American! Muslims do not hate American we just hate your gov selfish policy which is control and maintaining by the Zionist Jews who are not only enemies MUS but also your. just think about the nation which u grow buy your hardworking tax money cheat with u doing 9/11 if u don't believe on Muslims at least believe on your own prophet Jesus word who cures in bible on Israeli. God cures Jews and all the world good people cure dirty Zionist Jews. Oh USA people don't hurt Muslims

  • remember roger and me? Who is he saving now?

  • LET IT ALL CRASH!!!

We will pick up the pieces and start again, th a more fair econamy!!

    Blessed is the poor man!!

  • that the beauty of captialism....if there are no car makers, people need cars. theres money to be made. SOMEONE WILL STEP UP AND MAKE CARS!!

  • Michael Moore has become rich by preaching the rich must be taxed to feed the poor, but so far hes been eating all the food himself.

  • finally, an intelligent comment!! Congratulations! I wish I could feed that fat slob to the crocodiles.

  • @Adnoydal Well he did give that guy who runs the biggest Anti Michael Moore website $12.000.00. because the guys wife was sick and the troll running the site took the money. because it was under anonymous until Michael pointed it out in the Sicko movie. of course the guy still kept the money because his wife's life is more important then his pride. which was the right choice for him and Michael does hold free banquet lunch rallies. for his movies so that's giving back to the community.........!

  • im pretty sure the trillions could've been properly divided to every worker of the big 3. but the ceos were in charge of that.

  • Believe it or not, some people LIKE SUV'S! In fact, lots of people do! And HUMMERS too! The car companies weren't shoving those down people's throats! What's being shoved down people's throats is this idea that the "green movement" is some unwritten law. Everyone deserves a choice, & no Michael, that does not just mean the choice to buy a partially electric car (that over it's lifetime uses more energy than a Hummer), but it also means that people can choose to NOT want one of those cars. *GASP*

  • @auroreias

I want one!! an electric car. why cant i buy one at a nice price??

  • @Joethompson3 Well they'll be available in 6 months I heard and for the price. the batteries in them are like $10.000 grand just alone........!

  • GM's Chevrolet S10 is one of the most highly sold trucks of all time. They dropped this vehicle for a Colorado which is a bigger sized engine, and less efficient, less demanded vehicle.

This is an example of what Michael Moore is saying.

  • I like the big three and I will only drive GM Ford or Dodge. But Moore is right they arent building cars that people want or need. They were arrogant

  • what appears to be the right path is the socialistic way of doing things that for example china atleast partly so that it is not a few who become filthy rich but all have atleast a decent life and not be on the road with no jobs

  • What a creative society too. They can't create anything.

  • Your wrong, the Oligarchy still has the power and they have no innovation. Socialism is just a way to gut the middle class and take away property rights from the masses. No innovation,

  • Hahaha Ford rocks!!! Fuck that bailout. All of you goofs need bailouts!

  • I cant believe it but for once in my adult life I agree with this fat ass, liberal, commie, do nothing slob.

He's actually right, but dont stop here, get rid of all the management execut's. Including the bastards on Wall street!

  • Moore is dead wrong, the companies should have failed and smaller ones like Tesla should have been the winners.

  • I don't think he is dead wrong, the failure of these companies was because of poor business management. I don't want to give these CEOs money for screwing up. If these companies fail now, though, that's going to put thousands of even more people out of work, and make the recession worse. However, it may be clever to put some capital into these other companies so that they can hire more people, grow, and offer stronger competition to the big three.

  • Moral hazard is the prospect that a party insulated from risk may behave differently from the way it would behave if it were fully exposed to the risk.

Federal Reserve trying to bailout the economy creates this.

Companies have to fail, and smaller ones will take their place.

Tesla, a car company, makes a electric super-car. Look it up.

The Government bailout politically well connected companies via the creation of Moral Hazard. It hurts the economy is the long run and kills small business.

  • @chewbaca1989

    I like Tesla!!

  • its the people on top that is always responsible

they blame everybody else except themselves

    they even blame the economy

then why did KIA just built an assembly plant last month

because they know their product[cars] will sell no problem

  • Chrysler Sebring, Pontiac Aztec, Dodge Neon, Ford Windstar, Dodge Durrango, Ford Exploder, etc... I rest my case!

Bad for the consumer but good for the junk dealer!

  • I wonder what automobiles those execs drive? ( I bet it's not the products they sell!)I also wonder what vehicles the negative comment people drive? I'd be unhappy to if somebody told me that I spent big bucks on garbage.

  • Michael-You say "It's the Management's fault, their complete IDIOTS & don't know how to run an Automobile Co. Michael you do the math here-OK BUD. What are the mathematical statistics that all 3 of the U.S. big 3, all simultanously hired "INCOMPETANT EXECUTIVE BOARDS"? Put your math professor pants on Michael & answer the fucking question. What are the probable statistics that competetive wages for non-union (Japanes owned) assembly plants in the Southeast will cause the big 3 to bankrupt.

  • What exposes us to failure is NOT our product lineup?

The 3 car manufacturers in USA have made cars for 30 years that people dont get excited about. By basing 5-6-7 cars on the same model over 10 years with no advances and nothing new.

Europeans stopped buying american cars many years ago not because " we hate america" we just dont want old, outdated cars and finally the americans stopped aswell.

Pickup and SUV sales have carried the american auto industry for a decade and now they are out.

  • Michael Moore is right . These people just do not listen to the consumer . They are very very arrogant . They should all be replaced.

  • Fucking bailout?? I'll tell you what needs to happen, these ceo's and top management - these fat cocksuckers at the top need to be lined up against the wall and take a bullet to the fucking head!

  • I'm with you. Let us know when the time comes and your ready so we can participate. I'll bring my gun.

  • Revolution, it'd be like when the communists won mainland China, and promptly dealt with "traitors to the people" including entrepenuers, landlords, and collaborators to the corrupt government, or the Japanese during the Second World War

  • Michael Moore: tough critic.

    Larry King: Total douche bag.

This guy, like the big three auto execs, should have been out of the game years ago. His suspenders are a nice match to the big three's latest pitch: way outdated, and no one gets it.

  • No bailout No loan....Chap 11. is the way to go. That and only that will make all of them & the UAW change.

  • Though there's nothing we can do and the proof is they hold the lever to the economy. Other than Google I wish I could see a company take responsibilty and take pride in the security of future families rather than personal wealth. Though I am sure it would be nice to be rish but how much money do you have to have? I mean if I had 40 mllion why would I bother with these problems? Have the government buy the company. Now your taxes pay for 50% of your car of choice. Whats the problem here? LOL

  • CEO's should not be making Millions in "bonus money"...in fact, they should not even make "$500,000. bonus"...we need to CAP bonuses...the most any CEO should make in Bonus should be $50,000 and under per year. And enoughhhhhhhhhhhhh of LEAP holes. This is now a revolution....let's fight back!!

  • You're an idiot. The companies do not belong to you. Of what consequence is it that some idiot who has no stake in the company to tell its shareholders how much it can pay its CEO?

  • Government hold the reigns? Have you seen how brilliant our current government is? You sir are an idiot. Why dont you take your own advice and go to a domestic show room. Test drive a Malibu, or Fusion, or CTS, or G8, or Astra, or Vue 2 mode, or Escape Hybrid. Or How about you ask Toyota about how they produce their batteries for the prius, or ask them why their Tundra and sequoia lead the fuel economy pack at the BOTTOM. Why dont you ask Honda why the 2009 Fit gets less MPG than the 2008 fit.

  • At 200 Miles Per Charge (140 EPA rated) the '99 EV-1 with NiMH was the answer...ten years ago...we do 90% of our driving with the 65 MPC 2000 Ford Ranger EV NiMH...they shouldn't see a DIME!

  • Itz true they had such a long time to compete with honda and other companies on MPG and the environment and all they did was take out more trucks more cars that suck ass. Michael Moore should be A President or something lol

  • Have you not noticed that Japanese car makers have followed suit with SUV's and larger more fuel inefficient vehicles? Did you know that the Chevy Malibu tops the Camry and accord in MPG and that the ford Fusion hybrid gets 40MPG? No, Im sure you didn't because you didn't do any research before jumping on the idiot bandwagon. Did you know that the Chevrolet Tahoe won north American green car of the year?

  • Auto Maker's don't care About Worker's,it's all,About Profit! The more they make ,the Happier they are ,and the Rich Chairman, and Investor's, Retire Richer, Faster!!!!

  • You can't reward failure.

  • I worked on the front line, dealing with and repairing customer cars, they[the big three] have listened to no one.Clueless factory reps, its a normal clunk and rattle in your minivan steering,do the service bulletin fix[most didn't work]If they can't build a Honda or Toyota quality car,let them die, something might rise out of the ashes,a real good American car.

  • God Dam Traitors in Congress.

    Its much easier then this.

    1. Life Line Legialstion= 1% per annum The social security credit card for all citizens in dire straights.

    2. the 90-100 year mortgage letting hard working ameircans have 2/3s less payments and interests on their illiterat government servants misrepresenting us.

  • What an idiot. How can you say look at their showrooms at what they have been shoving down our throats? No one held a gun to my head & made me by my SUV. I still love it. No one forced all the other Americans to buy all their SUV's. I don't know where you shop, but you need to call the cops if they are forcing you to do something you don't want or go back to you parents & have them teach you how to say NO. Go into an American car showroom & look. You will be pleasantly surprised.

  • The idea is, someone may have chose to buy an electric model if offered. Why pay Arab nations for oil we now have to protect with our Navy?...I own a 2000 Ford Ranger EV NiMH...what is Ford waiting for?

  • When somebody builds an all electric car that can run as far as a conventional car between recharges, they might catch on. Hybrids and alternative fuel cars are the future. Nobody wants a vehicle that cant go 150 miles before needing an overnight recharge, unless they live only a couple of miles from where they work, or drive it maybe once or twice a week.

  • How can you blame Allan Mullaly, the CEO of Ford? This man turned boeing from being on the verge of bankrupcy to them making record profits. Ford hired him to 2 years ago to do the same thing, and he was doing that. He was going to give ford a profit in 2009, something they have not had for 3 years, but the financial industry is what hurt them. It's not the management(in ford's case) that's the problem. But you could argue that Wagnor has messed up GM over the past 8 years..

  • First of all Mullaly didn't save Boeing, the hard working employees did! None of these CEO's could find their assh*les with a funnel! They're idolaters, worshiping money. Seize & liquidate all their personal assets (and their lazy wives) & let them live in the gutter. Maybe then they'd learn some humility. No CEO or president should ever be paid millions in bonus & salaries. It's obscene. That's the probem-they reward their own greed while destroying their hourly worker's lives. They're sick.

  • Agreed. GM's Wagner got 17 million in salary last year. He has to go!

  • Moore is one of my top 20 fav people.

  • Ford, GM, and Chrysler builds the world's least favorable cars. Why?. No reliability, no good gas mileage, and most important no good durability. American cars cost an average of $ 20-30 Thousands, yet they will NOT last for 10 years. All built from fiber glass, plastic and rubber. I work at a car rental company, one car crashes, and they it is totaled. The average American can't afford to buy a new car every 10-15 years.

  • Your company must not maintain them very well. (and if its Enterprise I know they dont)

  • They need to quit making ugly cars that suck for reliability. I deliver pizzas and my cars go through some serious shit. Ultimate test of a cars reliability, trust me. I owned a few GMs, including 2 brand news ones, and they were an absolute nightmare. I got myself out of those cars(and debt) and bought a 1988 honda civic with 100k on it, and it's now at 150k. It is an unstoppable state of the awesome precision pizza delivery machine. American cars suck.

  • How do you afford 2 new cars delivering pizzas?

  • In all these blogs, the writers are looking BACKWARD! "Gold Bugs", inflated neo-liberals & neo-cons of IMF, Gas-car fixators, ELECTRIC car fixators, FIXED sun & wind FIXATORS, GMO-Biofuel FIXATORS, consumer-accumulator FIXATORS, etc. Turn & LOOK AHEAD! Magnetic Drives:millions produced now. Magnetic Generators:dozens of models. Incoming Photons & self-generated wind pressure. Fuel-Less Transport: see "Pivo2". Dumbed-down consumers who only know plug into WALL!

  • PRODUCING rather than CONSUMING energy is a massive world-wide mind-set change. Fuel-Less Transport, now invented profits NONE but the drivers - the PEOPLE! Capitalism is a temp. stage of past two centuries, of Energy-machine centralized production. With no-motor electronic transport, the machine age is essentially over. How dire the transition, is up to the groups whose gas-motor machines are now all JUNK! May "Big-3" & the other WWII fixators go quietly!

  • Why dont they ask for ExxonMobil for a bailout?

  • With the exception of the Tesla, American cars suck. I bought a Ford in 2000 and it started falling apart after 30,000 miles. As a result, I did a little research, traded the Ford for a Honda with 74,000 miles. The Honda, which now has almost 160,000 miles on it, still runs as well as the day I bought it. The management of the "big three" should be fired!

  • A friend has owned his 1994 Chevy Cavalier thats got 150000 miles on it since it was new and its never had a break down. Guess your Ford was a lemon, but of course everybody makes one now and then, here or abroad.

  • Are you kidding? "...everybody makes [a lemon] now and then, here or abroad." Your friend's Chevy is the exception, not the rule. I've known many, many people whose American cars were total schlock. On the other hand, most of the Honda and Toyota owners I know feel that their cars have held up well under tough commuting conditions (I live in L.A.) and get good gas mileage. This reality is precisely why the Big Three have failed.

  • Go do some research idiot, many import vehicles have had issues and recalls.

  • I never thought I would say this, but I actually agree with that fat fuck.

  • hahahaha i know what u mean. if u look back hes been right about most the stuff

  • I have and he's not

  • Michael Moore is nobody. Who cares what he says.

  • Amen...since when is Moore the business mind of the US?

  • You should listen at least a little bit to him. He's been saying the same stuff for 20 years now.... He might not be a business genious but the time has spoke by itself...

  • The man's faith in government is astounding. They let you down again and again, yet, it's our only hope for a solution.

Yeah, let Goverment hold the reigns, forgetting of course that the Government is the biggest money waster of them all.

Stupid liberals suffer from Stockholm Syndrome.

  • So I should buy crap(30% more maitenance problems than foreign cars) because they gave to charity? Should I do that when I buys shoes too, or get a haircut, or buy from a certain realtor - what a nitwit.

  • During this week of Thanksgiving, lets put thesefacts in perspective when we think about to whom to thank: CNN Headline News did a report regarding the American automakers $30 million contribution plus vehicle donations to the recovery efforts after 9/11. How much did foreign automakers donate right after 9/11? Honda: Nothing, Toyota: Nothing, Volkswagen: $2M, Hyundai: $300K. All Other Foreign Automakers: Nothing. Whenever the time may be for you to consider a new vehicle, keep this in mind.

  • You might want to give more consideration to a car manufactured by an American-owned and / or American based company. Apart from Hyundai and Volkswagen, the foreign car companies contributed nothing at all to the citizens of the United States. It's OK for these companies to take money out of this country, but it is apparently not acceptable to return some in a time of crisis. I believe we should not forget things like this. Say thank you in a way that gets their attention.

  • These CEO's live in a fantasy world! GM was losing billions even when car sales (or should I say truck sales...) were at record high. Now there telling us: Just trust us O.K., we can make money, all we need is $25 billions from you guys and everything is goint to be honky dory. Right...

  • They flew in their private jets and got off the plane with a tin cup!. These idiots are going to take your money and run!. They don't need the money!, they need to build cars people wanna make. I work for the big 3 and I say don't give them the money!. Remove these CEO's

  • I don't want tax dollars to pay for a failing company that makes shitty cars that no one wants.

    Honda rules!

  • HAHA yeah bro, 2 thumbs up. Acura/Honda baby!!!!!

  • The Big Three Don`t make the Vehicles Like they used too! Now they`re barley in the begining of catching up to the Japanese auto makers. I once was a customer of FORD, DODGE, and GM, but shitty reliability and poor gas mialedge has lead me to be a faithful costumer to Honda Motor Company! I have over 166,780 miles on a '98 Accord and still no major engine repairs. Just Change the Oil and Go!! That`s how Cars Should be made!

  • American car companies sell shit and act like it's gold. Consumers know better.

  • My dad worked for the auto industry and was part of the major bailout of Chrysler in the 70's. Even then I would tell him that the US auto industry isn't sustainable but the corporate culture of the US automakers had trained even their workers to think that they make the best product no matter what. However, Japanese and European car makers saw the writing on the wall then and NOW. Big cars are not only impractical, they're bad business. Most people won't haul an airplane or drive over mountains

  • BTW... I DO know proper grammar. I merely forgot to remove the "to" when I reworked the sentence. It should read, "... for asking that the CEOs of our major corporatons BE held accountable... "

  • The big Auto companies are lining up at the trough hoping the taps still run ...

Can we have a bunch of money so our private Jets get funded?

  • The big 3 are making vehicles which cost $15,000.00, that last 6 to 7 years, after that, it's a piece of crap.

People have lost faith in their cars.

This is why toyota and nissan are selling like crazy.

I used to be a chevy man. I KNOW my next car is going to be a toyota or nissan.

Go have fuel pump, that's inside the freaking tank, changed out by the dealer. And get prepared to shell out a good $400.00 guaranteed!

Fuel Pump AutoZone: $40.00 if even that!!!

    The rest is labor cost.

  • if they are gonna get the bailout money, they should be required to build cars with more than 50% of the parts produced in america!

  • If they did that.. the cost of cars here would be 50% higher.

  • OWNEd By Mike!... Mike knows it.. Finally a voice.

  • Ftbaiifan: Yeah... Isn't it terrible how Moore always sticks up for the average American? He should be ashamed of himself for wanting affordable health care for all of our citizens, for working toward everyone having a living wage, for wanting to end/prevent unnecessary wars, for asking that the CEOs of our major corporations to be held accountable for their poor decisions. What a prick.

  • You need to do your homework read the usa today and see where one of his people turned over some papers that were written by other people going back six years he dont even write his own stuff he is in it and I quote "I am in it for the money I could care less who I make mad as long as I get paid" Yeah he sure is looking out for the common man

  • Ftbaiifan: Sorry, Sparky, but that's just BULLSHIT. I want to SEE him say, on VIDEO, that he's only in it for the money. Unlike you right-wingers, I'm not ignorant and gullible. I require more than "hearsay". Nice try, though.

  • Well Chiffon if its proof you need then look at the 18th issue of USA today and see for your self and when he was asked about it Mike Moore said no comment. Oh and the writer is a liberal so no excuses for him this time

  • Ftbaiifan: When asked about it by whom? When? In what context?

  • Fbaiiifan, that's right, blame the messenger. In every instance (from Roger and Me to Fahrenheit 911) Michael Moore has been SPOT ON with his criticisms. If the automakers had listened to Moo 20 years ago and Americans had listen to him 4 years ago when they chose a president, they wouldn't be bitching about our predicament now. But this is not about who warned who, it's about who is motivated by principles and who is motivated by greed. The US auto industry has NO PRINCIPLES.

  • Oh priorzola I do agree with you about the big three they dont care about anything but the bottom line. But I also dont think they should bail them out either most experts say if they go bankrupt it will hurt alot of people that work for the auto industry but that if set up right they should come back stronger. I know that they have the technology to have clean burning cars but they just want their money too, as long as they are pumping money into Washington DC they will get what they want

  • They(the assets) will only be leaner stronger and more formidable on the other side of bankruptcy.

    No Bailout for anyone.

  • 100% TRUE

  • I saw the whole interview on tv, and he made so much sense.

I hope someone shows this to Obama.

  • MM is my hero!! He speaks truth to power. He speaks on behalf of the disenfranchised with a voice of empathy and compassion. And, he speaks with an air of righteous moral superiority when castigating the heartless, greedy capitalists who sold out the working class in America. He speaks for me. I love you Mike!

  • mslkj: The way you speak of M.M. puts you in the same catagory as you did him and what does it make the ones who agree with you?

  • then go suck dick cheney's and george bush's fucking cock........they are the ones that are unamerican and frankly your a nazi, ignorant fuck

  • You must be crazy...or crazy rich, b/c those are the only people he speaks out against! ha

  • Pure projection my friend. Truth hurts doesn't it STOOPID!!!

  • Screw GM. There are a thousand better ways to spend that money besides giving to those fat greedy bastards.

  • I think the US government should buy up a controlling share of their stock of all the companies and sell it cheap or give it to all the GM, Ford, and Chrysler employees. Let the employees control the companies.

The first thing they would do is fire the CEO and executives which is totally justified.

  • Exactly. The entire stock market value of Ford and GM right now is $9 Billion; let them use an administrator to reorganize the industry, keep what's salvageable and chuck out the rest pronto. Private investors have rendered their verdict on the Big three: they're already failures.

  • At last some sense: Moore is damn right as is Pongman! These rich arrogant bozos killed the electric car, they should ask Exxon/Mobil for the bailout. No more socialism for the rich and their profits. What is needed is a total re-direction of priorities in this industry: sustainable jobs to produce sustainable products for a sustainable environment.

  • GM was in cahoots with Big Oil so they bought the Hummer from AMC; when they should have been building electric cars. They killed the electric car so Big Oil can keep selling more gas. Fuck GM and the rest of them. Viva Toyota!

  • GM should ask Exxon/Mobil for the 25 billion dollar loan.

  • "GM should ask Exxon/Mobil for the 25 billion dollar loan."

That's the best idea I've heard since the talk of an automaker bailout started.

  • Well since they are both in bed together GM, the whore that it is should ask Exxon/Mobil which made over 40 billion dollars in profit last year to pay for the blowjob they gave the U.S. taxpayer.

  • from what I can tell it looks like most of the country (and congress) agree, and I have to say I do too, but even so its still just scary as crap..

and you know, we're fighting two wars, I know these Big Three should have been benefiting from that, why haven't they?

I am NOT in support of our two current wars, as I say this, so don't confuse that as I ask this but

Who's gonna make all the ball bearings or whatever for those two wars and for anything guarding our own boarders etc) now?

  • Money w/ strings attached.

If these guys want help here's what they should do:

    1-CEOs & Top management resign

2- Agree to produce cars meeting higher fuel efficiency standars now! At least 35 miles to gallon on all big three made cars now. NO MORE SUVs Also make half of fleet at least some type of hybrid flex fuel models.

3- Stop big exec payouts & cap exec pay.

  • anyone else find it amusing that Nardelli uses the word "tentacles" in describing his industry? cruelly appropriate, it seems to me, since I can easily picture this cobwebbed network of CEO corporate criminals as an oozing, slimy monstrosity, like something out of an old H.P. Lovecraft horror tale... "The Horror Out of Detroit" - the 2010 Chrysler Cthulhu is coming...

  • as a member of a GM/UAW family (and all of the cycles of strike, layoff, strike, layoff, buyout, rehire, strike, layoff, transfer, layoff, buyout offer/crisis, transfer, transfer, buyout offer/panic, etc.), I'm so sick of these guys I could spit. Just listening to them brings tears to my eyes. For good fun (as in practice for reigning in the emotions) watch the vid on cnn with Grimes from U of M on there. Oh, my alma mater does not make me proud. So happy I went to the Flint campus :)

  • Rich beggars. Capitalism is a disgusting system.

  • FIRE THEM! take it over give the companies to the workers like Southwest Air did

  • They knew what was happening for years! Let them burn. Then have them start over (with new managment) and do it right.

  • Go MM! - Ceo's should give some of their fat bonuses back!
