He then takes two more steps making it a total of three steps. That's travel. On #8 the crab dribble is clearly a carry. However the travel when he is near the rim is not travel. There should've been a foul called.

most of these are traveling, but some do not know you are allowed a step and a half. The half step is what people get confused about, but basically means by the end of your second step, you have to be attempting to score or pass the ball, which means 2 steps is allowed if you are going for a dunk. Basically 2 step is always ok as long as you do not stop after the pivot foot(second foot moved lands) you have to immediately dunk shoot or pass for it to be considered a half step.

I don't know what the rules are. That's just the way it has been even since the Jordan Era. I like it because it makes most dunks more entertaining.

It's not a written rule, but it is known. No opposing fan, or opposing player, or commentator, or ref has ever called a 3 step dunk a travel.

And pierce wasn't like "Um WTF" in #10. It's allowed.
