That's stupid. It seems like no character ever lasts very long anymore. Jeremy Horton went fast. Now Nathan? Just when I got used to him and started liking his character. And while I'm complaining about actors being taken out, I sometimes really miss seeing John Black. We never got to see his character interact with Stefano after finding out they were brothers.

i really hate that they let him go without stating the reason i started watching the show 3 years ago and he had been one of the main reason for watching it i really am sad that he has the leave the show i hope and pray every night tht they reconsider their decision because i am pretty sure without him their will be a lose of viewers i support mark hapka on his decsions also i have always been a fan of his and melanie i hope that they wont let him go this year because i wanted their to be

I'm sure he's taped a bunch already, going into spring. it sucks that they get rid of the good actors, and keep the ones around that are annoying. Now all Days has to do is let go of JAMES SCOTT too so that I can have no association whatsoever with the show. Honestly, I only started watching when EJami got together in the last recent years, then they screwed us out of that coupling, now they're screwing us out of MATE too? F.U DOOL
what!? why are they letting him go? stupid. well let's guess..melanie's pregnant, will end up staying with philip who was so desperate to keep the truth from someone he loved, n now has the audacity to say he felt so bad about it (not bad enough to be honest with his wife) awesome. and i bet nathan will run off to john hopkins without stephanie, and never to be seen again. greaat ...not. sometimes i felt like his talents were wasted on Days and Steph anyways. hopefully he'll get picked up quick
