  • Exceptionally informative video series. Thanx!

  • what would you call your music style?\somekind of funk?

  • @hongdekong I guess that's up to you!

  • what a great sound. it’s my dream to own one of these someday.

  • Hmmm. I always thought they all had 3 oscillators.

Can't beat the sample and hold on this or the Odyssey.

  • Hmmm. I always thought they all had 3 oscillators.

  • just finished the series. absolutely spectacular. thanks for all the insight.

  • @hiawogice Thanks for watching all of that! I appreciate it!

  • 4:55! Yes!

  • dude, that wicked modulated chaos patch! more of those!

  • a microkorg is a real synth, forget this old lump

  • @PhotoAnimationGuy

You are being sarcastic, aren't you?—You know there's an army out there that would come straight for you if they saw this comment! :D

  • You Really are an inspiration Marcus old chap! I Can't believe how different you look without all that hair by the way!! lol!

You've got some great Synth Play Skills aswel. There's a great difference in playing the Piano, & playing the Synth.

A very Fun Vid.. I Wish you had done an Introduction Series!!! Ha Ha!

No, But seriously man.. I Do really enjoy your Videos. the more you are in them.. the Better. :)

  • 7:40 that's a fantastic sound and an excellent tune :D what is it?

  • 8:20 - sounds "throaty".

  • Thanks for re-uploading these videos in higher quality. But honestly, Marc, I don't hear such a big difference compared to the older version. YouTube's audio re-encoding still messes-up the sound badly. Especially with sawtooth waves, or anything with a high harmonics content. The video looks as clean as it can be though, considering it was probably recorded with a standard definition video camera. I wish YT would use another format than this crappy Flash format...I can always dream I suppose?

  • Things like 5:13 always put into perspective that some of my favorite acid artists don't actually spend 210394781203948 hours on a track making insane sounds, they just have interesting equipment and patch them up like they've lost their mind.

  • Hmm... All synth sites says that this thing is monophonic, but you can see and hear Joe Zawinul play chords on it in the Weather Report footage from Offenbach, 1978. It also looks like he gots presets on it, because he changes sounds instantaniously.

    Weird...

  • @Farksisten This particular model is monophonic, as it has the 3604P keyboard. A later keyboard version (the 3620) allowed duophony- two notes at a time. There is probably an electronic way to make presets for the 2600, but whatever it would be, it didn't come standard! : )

  • @Farksisten Maybe he had a couple extra ARPs under the floor. :P

  • 5:12 one key music, incredible XD

  • @need1992 So complex are the routings on the 2600 that you can get outcomes like that pretty easily. It's amazing!

  • I'm FIRST

  • @lkjlkjlkjlkjlkjlkj6 you're pointless

  • @lkjlkjlkjlkjlkjlkj6 btw that was tongue in cheek!

  • @lkjlkjlkjlkjlkjlkj6 I think you're my first person ever to state that they were first.

  • @AutomaticGainsay Everyone remembers their first first. ;P
