@austinyoung300ex It's a fun drag car! It looks narrow with those tires/wheels in the back, with the 14" wide drag radials it fills the wheelwells up.

@tagaEskinita I had the Civic laying around. The only thing that is still Civic is the body and glass. Everything under the sheetmetal is costom built.

The MOPAR guy in me wants to cry cause it woulda went in my volare so much easier, but the psycho in me wants to steal it and run 8s LMAO nice build its truly the first honda I can honestly say I want! The only thing diferent i would do is drop a 4 spd in it with a 2.80 gear so I could still stomp the comp and keep up with the viper boys!

@notanova I know what an Aspen and Volare's look like, I took a 318 out of an Aspen to use in 75 Dart Sport sunroof car, my former stepfather had a Volare that was an absolute P.O.S. Besides why would I want to mess with an F-body when I have 67 D100 big block, power assist equipped CSS pickup, you wanna talk about rare? Or maybe we could talk about my 69 Charger with the 450hp 440? Own a Ford, I'd own an F-Body first, but not by much.

I wondered for years if something like this was possible. I'm glad to see that it is. It's every bit as outrageous as I thought it would be. What does it weigh, and what's the front to rear weight distribution? Does it have high speed stability issues?

@snowrocket It is around 2200lbs. I have to get over to a buddies shop that has a 4 wheel scale setup to get final weight and front/rear distribution. I have had it up to 130mph and it goes straight with no issues, besides that is what the cage is for! 136mph is at 6200rpm so it is on the chip at that point.

@supergoatsack Wow, that is really cool to hear. NICE power to weight on THAT one! Your engineering, fabricating, and adjusting skills must be really good to get that car to work that well. I would figure that the short wheelbase and narrow rear track could make it squirrelly at high speed. Congrats on getting it to drive so well.

@supergoatsack Truck stops usually have scales and can weigh front and rear axles if you position the car correctly. My 79 Mustang with mild gutting was around 2800 with me in it. Only costs about 7-9 bucks for a weigh-in for those who wanna weigh there cars cheaply ;)
