Well, Aion is dying, I loved the game and I've played cleric since a few months after it came out, didn't even make an alt, I've met alot of awesome persons in there that I actually see and go out with sometimes now, point is Aion was great for me and kokhlos was quite an inspiration, kokhlos even gave me some advice long ago on youtube coments, ty kokhlos, but now all those people I said I met are leaving Aion and Aion is great (for me) but i will follow those persons to the game they go now.
In general, it was a very interesting fight to watch. Both 1% gs proc AND stumble with a staff (on templar!) - that's not something you would see every day ^_^
i wanna ask something: 5:28 magical fire damage is that a skill? what is it? its the first time i see it and i can see that it is very destructive oh great video by the way ^^

Just right in google search: aion magic boost test, click the second topic, it is in aion forums : Posted 29 June 2009 - 10:09 AM :100 Magic Boost increase damage by roughly 8%. That means mister smartass, that smite which does 1000 damage, with +100 m boost would do 80 more damage, calculated at 1080 total. GOT IT?

Its just whether you wanna play cleric in a defencive kind of way, or an offencive one. You can even have both and play each time as you like :) and 100 MB means shit to me. Its like 70 dmg more, applying the basic pvp defence and the mag res. of your foe its calculated like 30-40 dmg more per skill, and i didn't even add abyss bonus %
No need to argue, guys. It is quite simple; mace and shield is a good combo for defensive setups, while staff is ideal for offensive builds. I've put it very simply; there certainly are more variations and everything, both types of weaponry are there for a reason.
@Xesttt90 true ... but its noobish to say that shield in aion is completely useless (its like you SHOOT templars)... imo a mace and staff in the same lvl are almost the same with the small difference that staff would have like +40 m boost more (which is really crappy is like 10 dmg more :D) and some small amount of mag acc more. So i prefer mace with a shield to get a lot more benefit from the shield... rather than the small difference (almost inexistent) in damage that staff would do more!!
@Al3xandros1234 Don't forget that you can fuse a staff with abyss staff to receive around 10% PvP att depending on your secondary staff. You will not receive such PvP stats with mace and shield, so this is quite a bonus for dps-oriented players. Also, you get 10% extra mb from your secondary weapon. Either way, I could write a whole wall of text about this, but this is not a discussion board, so I sugesst that we keep it this way.

You can also see the difference when you change from mace/shield to staff.... you take a lot more dmg... block dmg is only affected from block stat and ph. def. I spent 1,5 years playing for this class, and I have seen plenty of cleric PvP videos. This one still is unmatched and probably will remain that. Just had to say this :S

@hashthedealer clerics burst dps is just insane, i have lvl 40 cleric and lvl 49 chant, when my chant is 50 i'll stop playing him :S chants are just to UP clerics are a really nice class to play and @ 55 you'll get the most awesome skill ever: call lightning ^^, so my advice play a cleric
For those probably wondering... if anyone at all stares at Aionsource; a while back, Kohlos posted that he was done with Aion ever since NCsoft changed the zone 3 rule in the NA/EU.
Anyways, great vid dude -- made me try out the dps line fully for a while but lacked the proper MB set/Godstone to appreciate it so I've been sticking with Benevolence for a good while.
everytime someone makes i pvp video i love how there is always that one person that talks about noobs with bad gear lol. I looked up some of these ppl and they dont all have bad gear in fact most of them had decent and pretty nice gear quite a few in pvp and miragents. Ppl always drink their haterade before getting on youtube yo lol
I love my cleric but it takes so freaking long to level. I am 33 now but I leveled my glad to 33 almost 3 times as fast as it took to get my cleric to that level.
@GrandpaRanOverRudolf For extra magic boost and pvp damage (weapon fusion) and magic accuracy (staffs have higher base MA than maces). It's stacked with MA/HP stones too, because cleric MA starts to suck against anything over 1500MR.
nice. the intro "song" matches the intro but i would change it a bit. and the music of the first 5min doesn't do the video justice nor does it fit as it is too calm. jesus needs jesus music or rape music. i'd slow down that 4300 call lightning and some parts are a bit too fast, but with what you're working with i'd say u put in a good amount of effort making it worth while watching.

nice. the intro "song" matches the intro but i would change it a bit. and the music of the first 5min doesn't do the video justice nor does it fit as it is too calm. jesus needs jesus music or rape music. i'd slow down that 4300 call lightning and some parts are a bit too fast, but with what you're working with i'd say u put in a good amount of effort making it worth while watching.
