some people need to shut the fuck up about that bloody food poisoning shit
It's a film about how Mandela united the South African people through the medium of rugby. Everyone saying that the boks cheated with that food poisoning thing need to shut up...the blacks won this year, what's the big deal?
Invictus is one of my favorite movies ever. In 1995, when I was watching the Finals, I had no idea what a Bok win would mean for South Africa. In retrospect, I'd say SA needed the win more than NZ did.
Anyway, is it just me or does Zak Feau'nati seem an inch or two too short to be playing Lomu? That's the one thing that bugged me about the movie. He just didn't seem big in the same way Lomu did back in the day.
invictus sucked and that world cup was pretty much rigged with all the food poisoning that went on during that world cup. plus the director needs to learn how to film rugby the game better. looked like crap
Mandela changed nothing. Racism is rampant and ironically, the ANC use rugby as the vehicle to really bury the nail deep. As white mans success cannot be tolerated, they must destroy. That's the new SA philosophy, don't be inclusive, but destroy. Invictus has done far more damage than good as it's portrayed South Africa in a way that is false. We are struggling the expose their trash, and then this is released! Goodbye SA.
@Blitzbok - I am saddened by what has happened in our beautiful country... the fact that connections mean more then actually being capable to do a job... but for me, this movie reminded me what an amazing nation we are... no matter what race, what economic group or which small "dorpie" or big city you come from.. there is something so unique and special about South Africa that I don't think exist quite the same anywhere else on the planet.. Ons vir jou Suid Afrika!
@coulston111 doesn't make any difference at all. I mean Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon are not South African but that didn't take anything away from the film.
he is my rugby coach and a bloody good one at that ! obviously he's not as good as jonah lomu himself but if u can think of anyone better to play the role of jonah lomu who looks like him and has the rugby experience to play the part effectively then let me know !
why do they have zak feau'nati(a samoan) playing Jonah Lomu(a TONGAN)????Jonah Lomu was the Tallest player on that team, but in the movie hes like the 4th tallest..the haka looked like an insult it was so bad.
I'm writing a movie from NZ's point of view,I'm calling it"WE WERE POISONED THEN WE WERE ROBBED!",I'll get Clint to direct it,since he directed those American and Japanese war movies from their perspectives, which were very accurate he'll find my version of events in 1995 tobe infallible!
and OMGoodness, I cant believe they pay for 'RUGBY teachers' over there? since when have there ever been 'rugby teachers' around. the first I've heard of it. Anyone who knows rugby will laugh at this. Goodness gracious anyone ever brought up in a rugby country will laugh at the scheming ways people make profit off from other countries these days. "Rugby Teacher" that's a whole new occupation to me. LOL wait till I go tell everyone I know about this. lol
mogsey1122 you tell them, invictus was about bringing the racism in south africa to an end and giving the people a reason to unite and live as one. . .although the best team in the world lost the final match (lol), it was a noble loss. . .fuckn awsome movie, awsome story. . .
@TSxUCEHADOUKEN WOW this movie was not meant to be about the rugby its about Nelson Mandela, and how he he used rugby as a way of uniting a country, its about bringing people together, ive seen both movies and Invictus is far more powerfull and important for todays society than forever strong will be. And if you can't repect someone so important then you sir are a idiot
wow WHY WOULD I CARE! THE ONLY REASON WHY WOULD SOME WOULD WATCH THE MOVIE! IS CAUSE OF THE RUBGY, I DONT GIVE A FLYING FUCK ABOUT SOUTH AFRICA AND WHAT HAPPEN TO THEM! AND UNITE A COUNTRY MY ASS AFTER EVERYTHING IT STILL WENT BACK TO WHERE IT WAS..
@reubenw59 wow, ur a prick being nosy from a comment made long time ago. who fucking uses CUNT as a Insult? how about your a holiday ham eatin two punk chump pussy hatin dick lovin incest breeding motha fucka need to put your nose in someones ass. Get your shit st8, NOTHING CHANGED, HE STILL DIDNT CHANGE SHIT IN REAL LIFE. oh yeah look at you ANOTHER PERSONS PERSPECTIVE! CHECK YOURSELF BITCH!
@TSxUCEHADOUKEN shit you still dont get it u fucking retard... its a feel-good film which was obviously wasted on you, as well as uniting a country and changed many things for a country... who uses BITCH! as an insult? fucking retard you dont see the irony... FUCK off and go eat some kfc!!
I remember that year Jonah's younger sister Sela Lomu attended my school, good times, good times Lol :P Sela im now living in Australia in case your wondering :)
