Hi i just wanna ask if the sigma f05 brush handle is matte flat black? Or shiny? Bcoz i just got one and it seems different from the other sigma brushes?

I think Sigma listened to you because the SS 109 I got a few days ago is dense like the MAC 109. So glad you reviewed this! Also glad Sigma was listening...

I already own the MAC 109, but I think I might try the Sigma one for highlighting or something where the density isn't so important. Might be useful having a small, fluffy brush!

My suggestion is for it to be a bit denser and have a flatter top, then it definitely will be comparable.

Ohh i was planning to use it with foundation.. i guess getting the MAC 109 would be a better option.

apparently Coastal Scents has a long-handled Kabuki that works just as well as the 109. Haven't tried it myself, but that can be a cheaper alternative.

thank you for your honest review. I've been researching sigma brushes and this makes me want to get the mac much more now. Sigma even messaged me on another thread and said that they all put a lot of effort into their brushes and value their customers, aren't trying to cheat anyone. etc Nice of them to contact me, but it seems like a lot PR.

Fafinettex3 says that you can use the long-handled Kabuki from Coastal Scents as a Dup. I haven't tried that myself but it sounds like it works just as well.
