I went to school with Alban (a long time ago). It is FANTASTIC to see him playing so incredibly well, as always, and having so much success. Go Alban! You are one of the greats!
I have heard him play the Prokofiev Sinfonia concertante on the radio this evening, from a concert in Bergen last week. He played a Bach cello suite as encore. Just great. He really deserved the strong and long applaud from the audience.
