@smb000000 canards, help produce downforce and stability... but fucks you over more than it helps, even so most honda kids get them for looks rather than its functionality purposes
run the gsr, unless your planning on running COP set up with megasquirt to handle really high revs... then maybe the b16. just google it. mad people will give you better write ups than youll get on youtube.
agreed fully...I turbo'd my 98 integra gsr at 117K 9 psi 300whp 220ft lbs of twist...stock motor...well..stock everything on a dynapak..now at 143K, still trapping 113.7mph+ in the 1/4. still great compression accross the board....I acredit its long life..due to a great tune from synapse motorsport on a dynapak.
and also a N/A motor is sucking in air. with the turbo its pushing air into the motor. the air velocity and pressure will make a difference with the sound of the engine. if you dont believe me watch a couple videos on here. turbo and n/a honda vtec's. you'll hear the vtec engagement better on a naturally asperated engine.
wtf? sounds like your car let out a wall-e cry lol

Good to see dynapak dyno units are being used as opposed to the rollers. Much more accurate this way :)
produKtNZ 3 years ago
dont see why places dont have dynapak. there more accurate on whp and tuning. and easier to use.

JUST TO LET YOU GUYS KNOW THE VTEC IS ALMOST sILENT WHEN YOUR RUNNING A TURBO APP BECAUSE OF THE DIFFERENT HEADERS

esco231 4 years ago
it definatly kicked in. its the audio that didnt pick it up. its set at around 5500-6000. for some reason the motor liked it that high.
