  • Isso e asustador

  • nossa imagina isso ai a noite deve se filé

  • My Dad worked for a Power Company and has seen this like Daily! Very Cool!

  • levar um choque desse deve ser fodaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • What would happen if I put my penis on it?

  • @Tazza17 Nothing don´t worry, with those ideas is quite sure yours measure about 1/4 inch

  • @Tazza17 You wouldn't have one anymore. Actually you'd get an inverted penis. And on top of that it would be useless since your body would be a lump of charred, black remains. Lifeless.

  • Here is 60kv in Eletric Arc... so dangerous...

  • Try 500KVA

  • love the sound!

  • hmmmmmmm... bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!!!!!!!!! woop!!!!

  • OMG!

  • looks kinda fake..y doesn't the arc go straight across?

  • No, the air heats up because of the electric arc, and since that ionized hot air is lighter then cold air, it gose up along with the arc, just like a balloon.

  • @jamrocx The high voltage ionizes the air heating it up, hot air rises and only the ionized air is conductive so th e electricity passes through the ionized air which is higher up and is rising, so the arc rises,

search for "Jacobs ladder" That is pretty much the same just more controlled

  • Muito lindo cara!

  • the workers are like who farted!!!!!!!!! jeez !!! people !! doorknob~!!

  • "wow!"haha

    cool striking!

  • looks like HAARP

  • lol, its not. GG

  • I dunno about plasma but I do know electricity fallows the path of least resistance it was traveling through the charged particles in the air

  • che stecca!!

  • Can anybody exspain why the arc gos up?

  • because plasma is much lighter then air and alot hotter

  • OK....Thanks

  • the path arcing electricity is actually completely random. It just follows the greatest opposing charge.

  • fyi: the arcing is not really an accident in this video. The electricity in the arc is just a capacitor discharging its stored energy.

  • Hi...... This is a high voltage switch (probably in the 500 kilovolt range). It appears to be disconnecting a 500 kv line from a large reactor coil (inductor coil). You can see it on the right when the camera backs out. Utility companys routinely do this for power factor correction applications to a regional power grid.

  • I've linked a new vid of my own making to yours,

because it shows the vast difference in scale.

    You guys will know what the device is about;

99.9% of YouTubers will be guessing the whole way through.

  • PS: if you like the tiny thing OK, it would be a great favor if you'd link this video to mine.

What a shock for them to see this one of yours.

    Thanks,

    Reid

  • the reason the arc rises is because it ionizes the air around the electricity. the ionized air acts like a channel for the electricity and since ionized air is less dense and hotter than the air around it, it rizes and the electricity wants to take the easiest path through the ionized air. causing it to go up.

  • Ah, thanks for saying that, i was about to ask why it rose since electricity always goes the quickest route.

  • air switch :)

  • Can I have that bugzapper? =P

  • I like the guy at the end... "WHOA!!!"

  • WOW that was a hell of an arc!!

  • Amazing!! ZAP!

  • Ha, you wouldn't want to stick your langer in between that arc!

  • wtf??? o.O

  • que IRADO! Thats Amazing!!!

  • show

  • yea its not special effects. cuz u should do some research on Nikola Tesla he was the first to be able to do this jacob latter.

  • Thumbs Up! Looks like it was special effects but this is for real!

  • datz tight!

  • !! Neat. The sound is what makes the visual effective.

    <--- also quite amazing

  • i saw that a wile ago on ebaumsworld.com

  • windefull!

  • EXTREME :P

  • Kewl.

    Check out my Ultraviolet trailer.

  • hmmm......

  • nice effects :D

  • cooool :)

  • Holy hell!

  • ROFL!!!

  • c r a Z y

  • now that, is some freakin voltage
