  • the graphy of Conflans is not perfect: it gives an overview of the sounds. The IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) is more adapted to transcribe sounds of arpitan, not only the one of Savièse, but also some lionese sounds like those nasals sounds, and the kind of "r" you're speaking about...

    that's why I preconise to use IPA to transcribe phonetically arpitan, or to use the Stich's orthography when a high phonetic precision is not needed :)
