Duuuh, Beatmania was one of the first Rhythm games ever made (That got popular atleast) And ever since then it's been overwhelmingly popular and have never went down in sales or interests. :)

You could always try to go to nico and use the kanji tag for keyboard crasher / angry german kid and search for smooch :P
