Americans can't understand your word, which is probably correct usage in England.

Americans, in the past, have messaged me and said the exact opposite of your good self.

  • Dorothy milking it for the airtime :)

  • a fun show to watch!

  • Wow .. this looks like a comedy show XDD

  • A rare glimpse of all three of Pat Weaver's NBC "Communicators" on one stage...Dave's "Today" had been up and running successfully for well over a year,

while Arlene's groundbreaking "Home" would debut 3/1/54, and Steve would take the helm of "Tonight" on 9/27/54. Arlene and Dave would both also go on to report for NBC Radio's famous "Monitor," which ran for just shy of 20 years.

  • Do I see "TODAY" and "TONIGHT" on this clip?

  • Bennett feels something penetrating

  • Arlene Francis has the most sensual shoulders . .. .

  • Ironically, after Daly quit ABC News in late 1960, he became a frequent substitute Today Show host, working as a free-lancer.

  • An extremely insecure guy who later committed suicide when he didn't change with the times.

  • Why do you say that? Why was he insecure? Please explain, I'm really curious.

  • Yeah. "Today" debuted in 1952, so Dave was just gaining national prominence. Many viewers would have been more familiar with his work in comedy and music on "Garroway at Large" (1949-51) and his radio programs broadcast out of Chicago.

  • This had to be around the time that the TODAY show appeared on TV.

  • Today debuted 1/14/52, so it had been on for almost two eyars at this point. Garroway was already a prominent national media figure. But this panel probably wasn't awake that early, so they may have had trouble identifying him.
