@brightelf - I forgot about 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' - also heartbreaking - I would have loved to see that ballet... It makes me sad to think that all these tragic routines are about their life -do you think that 'Stormy Weather' was about Jayne or Isabelle? What about the new routines? I know they're all glitzy for the cameras but Your Song/Let It Go/Fields of Gold were pretty emotional?
I love this routine, I can never chose between this and Encounter which is my favourite. It does appear to be their relationship in a dance - or at least part of it @brightelf - and it's very sad...
@facemusicanddance I will say Chris has said his ballet Encounters was autobiographical (or at least partially so), and the two pieces for Jayne in that were "Bridge" and "Still Crazy" which is about two old lovers meeting again. I think their routines were more autobiographical than they ever let on!
I was there! I saw the exhibition and closing ceremony at Sarajevo and it was totally wonderful - I really remember this - it was very moving. Thanks for uploading :)
One of my favorites, who could match Robert Preston singing this song, and yes, Howard Keel did sing this, just not for this performance or in the Olympics.
My God, I love this routine! I swear, you have to wonder if you're looking at their autobiography through their routine...all I keep thinking of is Betty Callaway's quote, may she RIP, "I don't think they realized the Bolero was them." Sometimes I wonder if this to was a commentary on their amazingly complex and odd, brilliant relationship.
Oh thank you SO much for uploadin this. I LOVE this routine so much. It's Howard Keel singing so sadly, and they get it so right (yet again) and it was their coach's favorite routine of their's. AMAZING to think Chris and Jayne choreographed ALL their own routines and also others for many teams later on.

@muscleboi4use Yes, yes, yes. You said this so well.

@muscleboi4use Correction it is not Howard Keel singing of course, but still utterly wonderful! They cast a total spell by the end.
