  • Is it because there's a horny ghost down there and the owners of the building are against fornication?

That's all I got. *throws hands up*

  • There is no library of congress in Canada. There is a library of parliament.

  • Where did she get those sound effects in the video? I love them! They had nothing to do with the video and yet they fit it so well.

  • GHOST BLOWJOB WOOO WOOO!

  • i don't get the significance of unmarried men... can someone explain it to me or what

  • @ishouldplayzelda I think It was because some he loved turned him down.

  • Its true that nobody cares about canadian politics, not even us canadians care lol.

  • Is this scary, or a gay thing?

  • Is this a real law? I can't find any proof.

  • why do you have to be married? do they think an un married man is going to fap vigorously in there?

  • @teddy5615 That's why the fire started! The friction! XD

  • Way to make something so innocent creepy as hell. O___O

  • it kinda looks like glamis castle

  • I sort of get it, it's like there is probably something down there, that the elders noticed, an unmarried man came down there and I burned, they didn't want that to happen anymore so they passed that law, it's just eerie thinking what could be down there 0_o

  • This is amazing because if you just listen to the words there is nothing scary about it yet my heart is racing

  • i think they had ocd

  • In Los Angelus it is illegal to herd more than 100 sheep down Sunset at certain times of day

  • This is the only one I can listen to without having nightmares. XP

  • so i first started watching this video and was like 'what the hell, she doesnt sound scary at all' and fast forwarded to the middle of the video and nearly fell out of my chair and shat myself at the same time

  • @silblaze1 I'm trying to imagine someone doing that now.

Thanks for killing the mood with your clumsy incontinent imagery. =/

  • @egdeltur666 I'm sorry :(

  • I live in Canada.

I'm so off to find this bathroom.

  • there must be a glory hole down there or something

  • @D3STRUKT0R99 the mother of all glory holes.

  • i happen to live close to there. just south from ottawa, i remember taking pictures when we were at that place, brought them home to develope, when in one picture everyone happend to be looking right at me...

    THEN WHO WAS LOOK?

  • Pfft, I'll enter.

  • @QBisbest You are so confident of yourself, aren't ya? you must be married...

  • @luccagiovani Confidence? No, simply brazen.

  • Occum's razor can always debunk this kind of supernatural crap.

In this case for example, clearly it was simply the friction resulting from vigorous self-pleasure on the part of an unmarried man in that bathroom that generated enough heat to touch off the conflagration.

Move along people, nothing to see here.

  • @theperrenialsmartass /nofunallowed

  • 9999 viewer

  • I'd seriously hate for her to be my doctor. She can give me good news and I'd still be like "Holy shit what's wrong with me? Am I gonna die?"

  • @Detth2you I would love for her to be my doctor. I've never had a sexy one before.

  • Do you have any informational sources for these? they are kinda fun.

  • I'm actually pretty sure, if this is in fact a real law which wouldn't surprise me, it would have to do with something young boys are *cough* known to do in the privacy of a bathroom. There are actually allot of laws throughout the world relating to such.

Sort of creepy video though, in a more subtle way than most of the pasta out there.

  • I'm actually pretty sure, if this is in fact a real law which wouldn't surprise me, it would have to do with something young boys are *cough* known to do in the privacy of a bathroom. There are actually allot of laws throughout the world relating to such.

  • ...the jealous husband. When Parliament was rebuilt, the former boiler room was walled off, and a portion of it was rebuilt as a bathroom. Rumor tells of a vengeful spirit that will rise up in a fiery wrath should a single man approach his unfaithful wife's grave. The last such incident in the 70s prompted the sealing of the bathroom and the passing of the law. That's my imagined backstory.

  • Hmm, I can probably piece together why no unmarried man can go down there. This is my hypothetical scenario: In 1916, a low-level grunt working at parliament catches his wife being unfaithful with a dashing bachelor. Consumed with despair and rage, he kills his wife and tries to dispose of the body in the government building's boiler (who'd look there, after all?) The steam valves were clogged by the soot of her burning flesh, causing the boiler to explode, torching the building and killing...

  • Oh I am SO heading over there with my boltcutters now. Death will be worth it if the Parliament burns down again. Guy Fawkes yo!

  • I LOVE your videos. Your voice is amazing, the way you retell them is brilliant, and the audio and visuals add so much to the overall atmosphere. This is exactly what the internet needs, after all those screamers and cheap scares that only serve to make you jump, then feel annoyed.

And now you made me love you even more by using Door to Our Home as background music! :D

  • isnt it illegal to drag a dead horse through any street?

  • still a bit confused why a unmarried man cant go in?

  • oh man i wanna go to that bathroom now.... where is this house of congress?

  • well i guess i know where im headed during the summer to check out during the night with a crowbar in one hand camera in the other :)

    and im serious too

  • You mean the Library of PARLIAMENT, not the Library of Congress, right?

  • ...judging by the sound of metal banging, maybe it's because someone makes chastity belts down there

  • (o.o ) i need an adult...

  • A downright fascinating tale! You never disappoint.

  • @WesternWhiteWolf would you like to elaborate that for me, i didn't understand the video.

  • @kripazznigga211 Ever since the library burned down, no unmarried man is allowed in that bathroom. This leads to the conclusion that whatever is behind that door is related to the fire. So the horror or creepiness comes from not knowing what is behind the door. Mysteries tantalize us and scare us because we can't know. Better yet, we might not even want to know, but we still feel the need.

  • @nekorur Yeah, but why only ban unmarried men?

  • @Moriko13Unohana Exactly. What is the correlation between unmarried men, that bathroom, and the fire? I sure as hell don't know, and furthermore, by the mood of the video, I'd be happier off not knowing.

  • @nekorur

Yeah...I'm certainly not going to go try and hunt that bathroom down. :/

That can just remain a mystery.

  • how do you make something so not creepy, the scariest thing of life? lolxX

  • wow, now im kinda scared cuz I live in ottawa ontario... did the parliment buildings really burn down? because i've only lived here for a couple months...

  • This is awesome. Like Stephen King one time said: "Nightmares exist outside of logic, and there’s little fun to be had in explanations. They’re antithetical to the poetry of fear. In a horror story, the victim keeps asking why. But there can be no explanation, and there shouldn’t be one. The unanswered mystery is what stays with us the longest, and it’s what we’ll remember in the end."

    The fun is not knowing.

  • LOL, Ohh Canada !

  • Sweet, potentially terrifying and horribly painfully premarital sex!

  • Another candia-related video <3

  • @tuobniklat Canadia**

  • what i found creepy is imagining what the answer will be if i asked "why?" cant an unmarried man enter that room?

  • I think, you guys who are confused, that the scary part is the NOT getting it. You get the setup, the gist of which is that many old laws exist for reasons we don't remember - so we have no idea what chaos the breaking of them ever caused in the first place. Then the crazy history of the building, which manages to be eerie enough - old buildings burning are always unsettling. Then the nonsensical law regarding a creepy location. It's like, "what happens if....?" and no one will ever know.

  • what is the name of the song you used when you're narrating the story?

  • @boardingtop Door of Our Home, by Goldmund :)

  • yet another great video, this is my lucky week.

  • holy jesus, what a beautiful building

  • i dont quite understand

like with ur other videos i understand the creepy part like portraits being window and stuff

btu i dont understand the creepy part here, could you please explain

  • Brilliant.

  • Your soft words and ominous but hypnotizing music makes me afraid and yet intrigued

  • Canada's a nut country, anyway... the capital Ottawa, which is by the Rideau River is called "Disneyland on the Rideau"... and the whole country is run by Freemasons... you can hardly get a job unless you're Masonic Family...

  • @CrackerJackLee yes and we all wear underwear bearing the US flag on our heads and eat pears on Tuesdays but NEVER on Thursdays and own one oven mitt and banned lava lamps 2 years ago and eat seal meat only on Sundays then we face due north, bend over and fart southward... and

  • @prphotography

yes... but the lava lamps were a damned nuisance...

(and seal will give one gas...)

  • abcnews.go.com/US/killed-thousands-black-birds-hundreds-thousands-drum-fish/story?id=12529390

I read this and immediately thought of your channel!

  • There lives the ghost of a lovely maiden who hid there during the fire. She suffocated. She was known to have been wanting to find love all her life even until the end. She carved into the wall rescue me my love. She was found dead with clean tear marks on her black sut face. She died waiting or love. Any unmarried man that has been in there has reported a cold draft to have put out their candle and most inaudible whisper of a lady whimpering something that sounds like love or my love please.

  • Waffles.

  • In North America, it is illegal to own land outright. You must "buy" it, then get a fake deed, then pay yearly rent (through taxes) and everything you do on your property (read: gov property) from how your lawn is kept to what you build on your property is monitored and controlled by local government. If you fail to care for the property the way the gov sees fit, the gov confiscates it and resells it to another sucker and the process continues. Great scam.

  • @GovOfWolves if that was true then why would some pepole be lowed to have garbige al over their lawn?

the only thing thats true is the taxes but its a seprit matter.

you do own it it gets handed to you by the previus owners not the goverment.

what did you think yould get it free from them?

the matter of taxes are you searusly saying you think there should be none?

say good by to the police that protect you

say good bye to your freedooms that the goverment

taxes go to pay for things you want/use

  • @theendofit For you to think freedoms are purchased through taxes just shows your ignorance. The police are not legally obligated to protect you. They break the law much more than they enforce it. Read the constitution. Many people have been booted from their land by local governments (there are reports right here on YT). You can barely communicate your thoughts, let alone recognize sarcasm or comprehend how things work and what rights you are entitled to. You're the perfect gov serf.

  • i suppose someone took a major shit that only 40+ years of waiting can fix?

  • It doesn't matter to me that I don't necessarily understand it. The storytelling was amazing, and I was still really disturbed by it. It left my imagination to fill in what I didn't understand, and I actually ended up scaring myself. I freaking love this channel.

  • @theLittleFears thanks

  • POLITICS IS SCARY SHIT

  • I can dig it.

  • wow unsettling.

  • that wasn't scary.

  • It's a gay promotional video for Cangayda.

  • Maybe this has something to do with Maggie Trudeau banging Geraldo Rivera in the bathroom back in the day ?

  • God I can never watch the end of your videos, my mind is racing with thoughts and I click away quickly

  • I thought you were dead or something! AND I'M CANADIAN; I CARE ABOUT OUR POLIT-Yeah....no I don't :3

  • I must find the key!

  • I'm not sure why i was scared...

  • Creepy! Your videos are amazing!

  • This video is one of your creepier ones. It really is the unexplained things that we remember.

  • I enjoyed this.

  • That nothing, I got an even better one for you, In Urbana, Illinois it is against the law for monsters to enter it's corporate limits, make you wonder if there are monsters lurker outside of those limits just wait for someone to leave them.

  • i already knew that i'm a canadian whoes obsessed with history

  • I kept waiting for the spooky part, hahahaha.

    Very anticlimactic.

  • Didn't get it ...

  • i live in ottawa... ottawa kansas

  • Canada's cool.

    Yes? Yes?

  • @cybrotius

    get out.

  • @cybrotius WOW that was really clever of you. Pretty sure a country can't be gay. just saying.

  • @cybrotius you lil troll get out i swear if i ever cross your path i'ma puch the sense in you

  • uhhh, someone care to explain this to me ...

  • @smaaartiess it seems to imply that some being or force gets angry at the presence of an unmarried man in the room and this lead to the previous fire.

  • im guessing that unmarried men get fapped down there. ;3

  • I'm confused... did I miss something?

  • Is that meant to be scary? I don't get it?

  • So what, something happens to unmarried men in that little room? :D

  • @TheInunah yeahh i dont get it either...

  • @cybrotius it's Canada* and it's not gay. thanks

  • @cybrotius It's Canada. And sorry, but Canada or any other country isn't "Gay" find a better choice of words.

  • is this suppose to be scary? usually they are but this one just isn't

  • each one i watch i find interesting but not scary. may be cause i don't scare easily

when i was a kid i loved watching the scary movies never once did i end up with a bad dream

  • @wantblackwolf cool story bro

  • Wait. What?

  • Comment removed

  • OOOookaaay NOW I get it: The reason it's scary is that it's not scary. It makes no sense at all, and the scare comes from how mysterious it is.

  • Soo...they were having sex in that bathroom and it somehow caused the parliament to burn down???!!

  • why

  • loooooove it

  • hrm... my only guess is... it's a political extremist succubus!

An unmarried man will be tricked into burning parliament down for some sexy sex whereas a married man will be like fuk u bitch!

Just my guess don't flame me omg. :S

  • @derebin lol yeah....married men will be like that.

  • dammit. Right when she was listing off strange laws in her bored, creepy muttering and she mentioned the canadian law.. I just happened to glance down and read the description and burst out laughing.

    Totally destroyed the mood tLF!!

  • i belive the idea behind this video is that there are some very odd laws in the world, but they have good meaning to them, even though tey may not apply to use now, they probably protected themselfs back then or were thought as proper values, why no single man is allowed in the bathroom i have no idea, but possiably has to do with the burning down of the building

  • @emogamer23

thanks for pointing out the obvious dude.

  • yay i look forward to more videos!

  • "There will be no premarital shenanigans in this bathroom, good sir."

  • Ok I have no idea what this means. Can someone please message me?

  • why is this one scary? :-/

  • Way to do a thing about Canada! It was creepy as always....*Shivers*

  • que.

  • i don't get it

  • @pokingthepenguin The library was the only part not distroyed by fire, adn then someone says there's a bathroom underneath the library, wich of course wasen't distroyed by fire because it was in the library and underneath it. However since the fire, no one is let to open the bathroom door, why would that be? What lies behind that door?

  • Glad you're back!

  • Glad ur back! I didn't find this one that scary, entertaining but not that scary. I mean what could of gone on in the bathroom that was so bad they had to lock it and make a law, a big dump was in there.? Lol jk. Idk tho my fav was the one when the guy goes in a cabin and sees those "paintings". My heart stopped on that one.

  • yay your back :D

  • I know you might hear this alot but, your voice is like super beautiful!! sorry i had to say it, cause i watched all of your video's! nice a creepy too

  • So happy you are back. Woke up my parents because I squealed with joy when I saw your video on my subscription list. :)

  • Excellent. Happy you're back.

  • Awesome. SO glad you're back.

  • Welcome back! I'm very glad to see your new readings.

  • why is that? why? this made me scared. xD

  • I think unmarried man is used because that implies a married man has lived enough life to die, so for there to be a law that no unmarried men may enter means that only men who can enter can accept death.

It's still not that scary :/

  • @alexanderthesomewhat .......what in gods name are u taklin about??

  • Library of Parliament?

  • She's baaaaaaaaaack.

  • Can you explain why this scares me?

  • Comment removed

  • @R1DDL3RS Its her voice, she can make a bus timetable sound scary if she wanted

  • The reason why an unmarried man cant enter that room is because its locked and we all know guys suck at knowing where the keys are, and we all know who we ask first.

  • @johnwinters2025 LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • Comment removed

  • @MsMercury very true. I always enjoy her videos. Even if I don't always get them.

  • wait... what? will someone explane this one to me please.

btw, not saying i dont love your stories!! i love them!!

i just dont get this one all the way.

  • @clairefox22 I don't really get it either so don't feel bad. Glad to see her back though.

  • @clairefox22 Firstly, the legislation of a taboo is always spooky, because legislation should be rational, while a taboo is irrational. Secondly, your mind creates an association between what happened to that building and such ideas as taboos (things you can't do, because, magically, you'll die or something or other), though that link is not causal at all; add to the mix the fact that there is a hint of demonic/magical forces at work (thing you can't comprehend) = scary to everyone :)

  • wait... what? will someone explane this one to me please.

  • Well, I'm glad i'm not sleeping in the library of congress tonight.

  • keep these up i love your story's!

  • lol i know some street musicians in victoria B.C. i'll be sure to tell the m the balloon law.

  • Very nice, Yet again. I hope you had a good New Year if they do that up in Canada of course.

  • I feel dumb. Anyone care to enlighten me as to what's so creepy about this video?

  • @bravelesszombie8 The reason why an unmarried Man cannot enter the Restroom? It's never explain why it's locked, unaccessed, and why it's that particular. I hope this made sense, 5 hours sleep doesn't do well. Insomnia...

  • @bravelesszombie8 the absense of a reason as to why the law exists, knowing that the law has a reason to exist in the first place, makes your imagine the creepy reasons why the law exists.

  • Absolutely love you videos keep them coming!

  • your voice is really creepy which is i good think for the videos you make! i love your videos though! very original

  • my eyes light up when i see a video from you in my sub box and a shiver runs down my spine at your wonderful stories

  • O.o For some reason. I thought La Llorona when I heard this...
