My school isn't like any of those in the comments.. In Australia every school, public, private and selective have to wear uniform.. So it's not really uncommon here so we can dress it up a tiny bit like wearing headbands our school colours and all.

At my school we have a set uniform which is black school shoes, knee high socks that are white and rolled at the top, a summer dress or a winter shirt and skirt with a jumper, navy hair acsessories, no nail polish, "natural" makeup and the skirt/dress has to be 5cm above the knee and socks at knee heigh ALL THE TIME! Iff we dont follow the rules we get suspended or detention!

I started a private school last year and it was horrible. i'm actually proud with my school uniforms, to be honest... Mine aren't that bad. We have khaki skirts that come 4 inches above your knee and tight polos and we can wear crew neck sweatshirts with out school logo .And the only think my school is strict about is wearing non school jackets, boys having hair too long, boys having earrings. We're allowed to wear makeup, jewelry, cut and dye our hair. (except they don't like when its pink or green or any exotic colors) but its not that bad really!

We have to have our socks black, top button up, shirt tucked in and black shoes(formal)

At my school we don't have a choice of uniform, you wear a pleaded skirt like the one u have, a uniform shirt (it's not a polo though, it's like a thin dress shirt kinda) and a blazer and tights. We can't color our hair and we HAVE to wear penny loafers -_- and we can't wear anymore than 3 bracelets per wrist.

I go to a public school, and our school uniform is way different to yours. We have to wear a dress for summer, then there's a woolen jumper, and we wear t-bars. Then for winter we wear stockings (or socks) a skirt, either a skivvy, white shirt or white button up shirt in. We aren't allowed to have nail polish, and our socks have to be white. I have to wear cotton pants and they´re light pink and a vest of the same color (each year its a different color 8th grade is royal blue and 9th dark red) the pants have to go down straight and the vest too it cant form your body so it just makes you look fat, and the shirt is a white polo, thick white socks and strictly black shoes with a strap, hair in a high ponytail pulled back with gel, no makeup, no bracelets, no painted nails and you cant pluch your eyebrows. Your so lucky we have uniform detentions here in England!! Everybody has to wear uniform and they are really scrict! Hair tied up. Shirts tucked in. Black or tan tights. No died hair. Only one stud in each ear and no other peircings. No bracelets. Black shoes. Super super long skirts. And blazers worn at All times... In my school we have to use a hideous squared skirt (below the knee), a shirt with buttons and God only knows what else, white socks and the school shoes. You can wear any nail polish you want but you cannot wear big earings, big hair accesories, no necklaces no jewely (apart from tiny earings) and guys must have really short hair.
